Update: 10/31/23: I'm still seeing reviews about watermarks. I still have no watermarks. VDH is still the best by far video down loader on the web and I'll stick by this until I see otherwise.

January 2023: I saw a review that said VDH puts a big watermark on the video after it downloads. I personally have not experienced this and I've been using VDH for over 7 years now. So I guess I've been lucky because Video Download Helper has never been anything but good to me and during that 7 years, I've tried other add-ons and VDH is by far the best I've ever used.

    I've tried a plethora of video download extensions, some works better than others, but when all others fail to make a download Video DownloadHelper works when all others won't. There's still some that it won't work for but it's by far the best I've used. Yes, there is a watermark, but the paid upgrade removes this and is well worth it.

    Ich halte es für eine sehr praktische Anwendung insbesondere zum Download und zur Sicherung diverser Vorträge. Der Funktionsumfang reicht mir dafür vollkommen aus.

    this app uses 90%+ of your CPU when downloading 1 file from youtube, i have noticed more and more apps are getting greedy, the one time i use my gaming pc to download a youtube video and it uses 90%+ of the cpu, how on earth can it use that much cpu, other shitbox apps(ultimate pop up blocker) use 90%+ of the ram and cpu leaving you with firefox that does nothing and windows that is unresponsive , i suggest everybody delete these hungry greedy apps asap, and use an app that takes less(less data, private info, cpu, ram, and gives you privacy
