- Hodnocení: 1 z 5od uživatele Anona Mause, před rokemWhen it works its great but when it doesn't its hopeless. Its error handling is non existent and its inflexibility makes it more trouble than its worth.
Far too often in batch mode, which is its primary selling point, rather than downloading the file required it instead downloads the html page and worse still then claims its the rar or zip file that was the original target. It reports what was a failure as a success. That it cannot recognise what is a successful download is a fundamental flaw and one that makes it unfit for purpose.
As a result at the end of a batch download you are left with an almighty mess where perhaps 50% or more of the file downloads have failed and there is no easy way to fix it.
Instead you have to sort the files out manually and then manually redo the downloads. SMD gives you no assistance in error management.
The lack of information (eg the links actually used) data export capability (eg a list of the failed links), the ability to change the order of items as viewed (eg you cannot order the items on screen by size etc they are fixed in their original import order), logging features (eg what has failed and what hasn't) etc, all of which, if available, might assist in error rectification, undermine any value this might have.
Instead of saving time, SMD doubles the amount of time needed to achieve the task with treble the frustration, As such its not fit for purpose especially if you have tens or hundreds of downloads to complete in a limited timescale. Its more trouble than its worth and equally does not provide sufficient guidance on how best to use it.
I really wish I'd remembered why I first stopped using this before I tried it again. Its going to take me hours to sort this mess out! - Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Kasper, před rokemIt would be nice if the download folder could be freely chosen (not just the download folder or a subfolder of it.
It would be nice to indicate if you want to replace the files instead of adding (1), (2) - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele bolynu, před rokem

It would be nice if the download folder could be freely chosen (not only the download folder or a subfolder of it) but I can live with that. - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 16857659, před rokem

- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele vyr, před 2 letyQuite difficult to figure out how to use. Filter for file extension failed. But I achieved what I wanted, thank you.

- Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele cintyaenciso28, před 2 letyI love it. very easy to use. All you do is click the download arrow, refresh my resource list and you choose what you want to download. I can filter what files i want and also there is an option if you want to download images it will show you all the images just the image files for you to just download that. You can search for the extension file you want to download. Once your done you can clear your downloads and if there was an issue with a specific download only those would remain in your download list. You can just click again to redownload or clear the inactive links.. Very easy to use and very useful. Thank you so much. I recommend this add on.

- Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele OM_RA, před 2 letyIt works. It would be useful if the download manager (download list) could also be opened in a new tab. That way, you could comfortably visualize all my downloads. I hope you can implement that function.
- Hodnocení: 3 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 17202105, před 2 letyWorks, but download the same files over and over with (1), (2), and so on, when revisiting a web file list resource, unaware of files it's already downloaded. Remember to pre-select the default download folder and turn off the [ save to where ] option first. Maybe the next version will allow selecting a target folder, and compare remote and local directories and ONLY get new files, PLEASE.
. - Hodnocení: 2 z 5od uživatele Sly65, před 2 letyThis is cool but it doesn't work except on the active tab. I select "all" and reload and it never seems to notice other media on other tabs.
- Hodnocení: 3 z 5od uživatele Frédéric Jeanbart, před 2 letyIt works nicely. However, the interface is NOT "simple", utterly akward and non-intuitive. For instance, one has to dig uselessly in order for it to simply keep the download list (resource list, load page links, active or passive queue wtf man) between sessions else it gets automatically deleted even if you don't manually "delete list"(and you need to go back to the source page). I've loaded a list, then clicked on the option icon, and when I got back everything was deleted from the list... The only links that it automatically keeps are those that are already downloading and "incomplete" (in the "active" list...). I mean, that have not begun downloading. Those that were paused are deleted from the download list (weird) : thus this plugin is useless, since you can't interrupt a download and then exit the browser, as only those that haven't begun are kept... I don't know really, but It seems that it actually integrates the browser's own doanload engine, hence the lack of a true pause feature (download from where it was paused after a reboot for instance), at least in the latest FF version. You can save the download list in a file and then load it back, or load it into another download manager, however most free download managers can also do this.
Select links, then "add to resource list" for not downloading then right away, but that list is lost if you close the browser, go into the setup window or whatnot : you MUST put them in the "download" (active?) list. And if you close the browser while it's downloading, it cancels the current downloads (they're not kept automatically), and you must go back to the web resource in order to get the links back. You need to pause the download, but even then you lose the list when coming back. And I can't find how to save the list although I was sure I've already did this (or did I?).
When the most common and simplest functions are NOT so simple and intuitive enough to get by the UI, as one needs to dig through tabs and button clicks while having to fumble over other functionalities and losing lists in doing so, it's not good. I've kept it only for the possibility of saving download lists. Now using something else. - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele Korwin, před 3 letyДействительно, просто. И функционально. В Mozilla Firefox 91.0b1 (64-bit) работает без нареканий.
