Hi & thanks for reaching out to Ghostery!

Based on user feedback and usability tests, we have moved the global pause button to Settings (accessible from Ghostery panel --> Burger Menu --> Privacy Protection) and have “Trust this site” available and accessible with one click which is scoped to pausing Ghostery on the present site only and for a selected time.

A bit of background for moving the global “Pause Ghostery” button to settings: Many of our users were pausing Ghostery for a specific local and time bound reason and forgetting to turn it on, so they were unknowingly browsing the web unprotected.

    like all similar tools : the user has to be busy. some websites refuse working but on the other hand: you know what this websites try to spy. freeware is ok and spending some bugs via paypal should be a matter of course

    Amazing! No YouTube ads, nor everyday ads. This extension even allows you to see what ads were blocked under categories.

    1. Allow Ghostery in private windows

    If I watch in a Private window, it doesn't block any ads. So what's the sense of even having this extension?
