Hey, any timeline on getting this working on Firefox 57+? Love the extension and don't want to give it up
thanks for this, i hope also for a webextension porting
Hope you can update it to the new Firefox version.
This is exacly what I was looking for. Thank you for making cleaning up and maintaining good privacy easier. Feature request: Add support for clearing old history/downloads.
It is a very useful add-on, but it needs more flexibility. I am giving 2 stars because I would like to have a more flexible time scale to choose from. It would be a good idea to have intervals of less than a week, even an hour. Or to be able to input a custom period of time.
Works as it should, and is a simple approach to curtail excessive cookie amounts and the long times they try to stay on your browser.
I hope this is or becomes e10s compatible. We shouldn't lose all our privacy feature extensions when Mozilla updates Firefox.
This add-on does exactly what I want. With some other automated cookie deleting add-ons, I was frustrated with some of the "grace period" settings that would either not work or would reset every time I re-opened Firefox.
This add-on has exactly what I was looking for. The ability to hold onto cookies for awhile and then let them go if I stop using them. Perfect, thank you! As stated in another review, this is the kind of thing that should be a default option in Firefox.
A different good approach to manage cookies.
Please add the option for delete cookie also once per week and a toolbar icon for do it manually without go to options.
The exception cookie list in Firefox is preserved?
EDIT:Small bug in Firefox 40, when I run manually the operation the message no more report the number of deleted cookies.
See the screenshot here:
My mistake; it seems this does delete all expired cookies. I had that confused with the setting for deleting "unused" cookies. Oops.
Does everything I want, changed to 5 stars.
Interesting extension. I use FF 24.3.0 ESR.
nice one, but users can only set the expiration time to more than six days.
its not possible to delete cookies automaticly every day or every six hours,
which would be more flexible.
anyways, nice one. good idea!
This a simple and much needed feature that should be by default in Firefox with some sensible settings to expire cookies after a week or month or so. The extension description should describe how to use this (go to Addons Manager, select options of this extension).
Okay, fixed the description. Thanks!
