I would say it's useful but it's not gonna be well used without history or bookmarks maybe you bring out addons for that can be added to menu.
It's just as much a hindrance as it is a help. Loads the homepage on startup fine, but cuts off all access to about:home - which means no access to your bookmarks, history, or any other Firefox-native tabs. PITA.
Using Firefox 30. Does exactly what it describes, even works when I open a new tab. Great add on, thanks!
Although now I can't access bookmarks or history because they were on default home page.
i like it (well i don't really need it, i just tested it to see if it would help others but it works well enough for me!)
Could not get it to work on my Nexus tablet. Very frustrating!
I absolutely despised that horrible, ugly, cluttered, inconvenient quote-unquote "Awesome Screen" that Mozilla was forcing us to use as our homepage, and I'm so glad that there's now an option to get rid of the damn thing and replace it with a real homepage.
Now the only thing I need to make Firefox feasible as a default browser is a way to put the browser buttons at the top of the screen where they belong instead of in an inconvenient dropdown.
It works and is really useful.
works great....just wish I could replace new tab page too.
I've been waiting for something just like this! I wish Firefox would have incorporated this option into itself.
