Beautiful and very useful

Junk Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I remember adding this to my browser some time ago because it was the ''best'' choice and preformed as such. I cannot say that today and I am removing it for good. Nothing other than Washington DC can be chosen as a displayed location. The settings or options choice has been removed so this add on is being removed. I MAY add it again if I ever move to DC, noooo thanks. There are much better choices to display my weather. These developers produce poorly designed junk yet beg for donations. Try developing something which works or upgrade to work with browser upgrades. If many other developers weather programs can function on the same browser, there is no reason why this one does not.

Very nice design. Has everything I need . Good Job!

Useful....when it works Rated 2 out of 5 stars

which is less and less of the time. I can't imagine what the author of this might be doing so that, even with no updates to Firefox, there is a problem with the add-on working.

I can think of at least twice I have thought of contribution, after a long period of the readout being missing, so as to encourage further development, but then the working stops, and fears of contributing to something never updated again come to the fore.

I'm impressed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just love having the weather, especially the temperature, immediately available on my desktop, but very unobtrusively. I work on the internet, but my boss isn't thrilled when I have the Weather Channel running while I'm working. She figures, if I want to know what the weather's doing, I can step outside, as long as I want to keep on walking. Weather Forecast Plus is just a tiny, little red square, up in the right hand corner of my Firefox, with the current temp displayed in little tiny white numerals. If the boss isn't watching, I can surreptitiously click on the little red square and have all sorts of weather information at my finger tips. I can also hide the whole thing with another quick click on the square. Love that the hourly forecast is there along with the radar map. Some of the info I could live without (farming forecast or allergen levels), but it's there if I ever need it and doesn't take up much space in the drop down weather. I really like it!

Works Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

At first all was blank but I found how to fix it.

What I had to do to get all working is after install I clicked on the icon then clicked on the search icon at the top on the right side (kinda looks like a magnifying glass) then input my zip code. Could have input city instead but I went with zip code.

After that when I clicked the icon the left side near the top had my city/zip code in there so I then clicked on that which caused all fields to be filled in with current temp , hourly, 5 day, 10 day available.

Also have maps and other stuff as well.

The best weather add-on for Firefox, IT WORKS! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a very good weather add-on that allows you to toggle from a Current, Hourly, 5-Day, and 10-Day forecasts, and these can be expanded for more specific information on indication of winds, humidity and chances of rain, and collapsed to go back to it's basic screen. The temp number is nice and big, and will commonly show a pleasant photo of a part of your city or town as background behind it.

It has a Weather Channel radar and map which seems to do its best to update what sort of storms or clouds may be coming in, much better as compared to some other add-ons for firefox. It will show weather information for other nearby zip codes, and scrolling down there's a nifty almanac at the bottom which can compare the weather patterns of years back to your current weather; this includes reported weathers from the day before and farther back, and historical monthly averages.

Clicking on the top RADAR MAP link, there is a cool function that plays what the weather could be like from current through that week.

The top right arrow has neat little facts you can click on to see what's going around about allergies, flu reports, and pollen.

Measurements have both Fahrenheit and Celsius choices.

When the widget is clicked on, it does take a second or two to load everything properly, but nothing bothersome and it's perfectly understandable considering all the great functions on the add-on to use.

The add-on is supporter funded and is well worth it to throw some in the pot to keep it going. If you want a great efficient working weather add-on for firefox, this is it right here. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Very handy to see the local temp right in your browser. However, you need to first click on the icon and set the local station and then the temperature will appear

Contains Some Useless Info Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Why is there stuff for TV/Personalities in a weather app? The Weather in the Area section in the main panel has entries for the same city but with different zip codes. Kind of redundant as they all have the same temp. Also think that the Almanac, Reported Conditions, and Historical Monthly Avg sections be moved to the Menu. Personally only care for relatively current info in the main panel. Just like the old UI contained.

I have to say that I like the old UI a bit more than the new one, but still very useful extension.

Now is much better but still doesn't save the Celsius setting, when I reboot Firefox back to Fahrenheit.
Thanks.

Please add current weather condition in the tooltip area. It would be much easier than opening the panel every-time.

When I click on the toolbar button, a blank panel opens. Why?
