Typical Junk Addon You Find Here Rated 1 out of 5 stars

NO setup screen for email accounts etc. Does not notify of new Emails. Garbage. Stay away.

Can't login Rated 1 out of 5 stars

How can you issue an add-on that doesn't take credentials and instead relies on cookies ?!!!
Thus first you make it impossible to keep a session if the user uses private browsing and second and most important - YOU ARE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO KEEP LOGGED IN TO THEIR SERVICES which is a horrible security issue, especially in offices and stuff!

Latest update does not work for me Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Two rotating orbs just keep spinning around each other and never resolve to anything. I reverted to the January 2016 version. The refresh icon is nice, but you could easily refresh in the earlier versions by clicking on the header. Still the best notifier out there regardless. I like that I can interact with my emails right in the slide-up window. Still gets a 5 star review from me as long as there is a version that works.

I considered contributing but.. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

First install, it was awesome. I really wanted a sound notification on the incoming e-mail and maybe a pop-up / desktop notification (which I heard was coming), but after using it for about 2 hours I realized that the mail preview doesn't get updated after the first notification.

You get a notification, after you delete the mail from Yahoo! the widget doesn't update and it will show the e-mails you received until you restart Firefox.

Honestly, I'm not sure I get other notifications after the 1st one.

Can't really restart Firefox after each e-mail, can I? :) I'll keep this one for a while and wait for an update for a few days.

Like it in place of broken Yahoo! Mail Notifier Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This works as it says, but I really wish you could open new tabs out of the add-on to take you to your mail.

Not working right Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I downloaded this after Yahoo Mail Notifer stopped working. Worked great until I did the last Firefox update. Now it won't show me how many emails I have. I have to click on it to check now. It also has some kinda script at teh top when I click it and check emails. Hope this can get fixed. I really like this add on.

Thanks -- seems to work well and do what it's supposed to Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks mostly, though, for giving me the idea to use the mobile Y! mail UI in the Fx Responsive Design View instead of Yahoo's full-blown webmail page -- it's a lot more "quiet".

It does what it says !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Frankly I was a bit surprised of how this addon seamlessly integrated into Yahoo mailbox using only cookies of yahoo ( I'm not a geek, so this is a guess, since it doesn't ask for your Yahoo ID and password ) .

- it brings the functionality of yahoo mailbox right into your firefox toolbar .
- it quickly notifies you about new inbox emails, displaying the number of unread emails on the icon .
- it works out-of-the-box, it does not require your yahoo email and password .
- it does not require firefox to be restarted .

- you can't right click inside this addon window, and if you click on a link inside one of the emails, it opens inside the addon window rather than in a new firefox tab or window. At least it should be the choice of the user. I hope the developer fix this .

Thanks to the developer : Your work is much appreciated !
