Seit dem Update gestern (auf Version 9.0.2.3) ist dieses Add-On, was die Benennung der Videodateien betrifft, eine mittlere Katastrophe: die frühere Einstellung, wie lang der Dateiname sein darf, wird nicht berücksichtigt, Sonderzeichen (die durchaus in Dateinamen erlaubt sind) werden einfach entfernt - dazu zählen sogar Punkte, Bindestriche, Klammern etc. - sodass der Dateiname fast nicht mehr erkennbar ist!
Noch etwas muss ich ergänzen: auch fast sämtliche sprachspezifische Sonderbuchstaben werden eliminiert bzw. gegen das englische Alphabet ausgetauscht - diesen Unfug gab es in der vorigen Version nicht - unakzeptabel!
Auch die Anzeige der für den Download verfügbaren Video-Codecs und Auflösungen ist viel unübersichtlicher und weniger informativ geworden.
Ich will meine bisherige Version 8.x zurück!!!

I really like that new UI. Unfortunately the new UI doesn't display media detected on closed tabs ("Orphan"). Please add this and I will gladly give 5 stars.

I used to give 5 stars review for the greatest video download extension ever, for older version as 8.0.0.6. It's able to download every video as I want. After your updated newer version had been coming, It was working marvelously for a few months. It's downloading faster like lightning. After that errors occurred on all newer version until the current version9. I'm so disappointed and I give you down rate to 3 stars now unfortunately. I'm so wondered these errors are not fixed until now, even a lot of complaints are showed up.

The old version is fabulous and I rate 5 stars. The new version is terrible and I rate 1 star, hence the average. As a result, I have gone back to the previous version and turned off updates. If you're new to this, my recommendation is to go back to the pre May 2024 version.

J'aime beaucoup cette extension. En plus, depuis la nouvelle mise à jour, elle est beaucoup plus ergonomique. Par contre, un point très négatif est que l'on doit payer. Cela ne me dérangerait pas si seulement je pouvais payer avec PayPal; sauf que l'on ne peut pas et que se soit très claires je ne rentrerai jamais ma carte de crédit là-dedans.

Edit : Elle gagne une étoile en plus car depuis que je l'utilise de nouveau, je n'ai pas eu de problème de QR code, car je ne leur ai pas donné mes coordonnées bancaires. Néanmoins, je constate que même récemment, il y a encore des gens qui ont ce problème de filigrane, donc je n'en mettrai pas plus d'étoiles.

While the app still does a great job of downloading videos, the interface is not nearly as user-friendly as the previous version. And the tiny font makes it very difficult for those with vision trouble to find the button that lets us select download as. Bring back the old interface.

L'extension fonctionne très bien. En revanche, elle cause d'énormes problèmes de performance sur twitch depuis au moins 4 ans. Il serait temps de s'en occuper.

The addon works very well. However, it causes huge performance issues on twitch for at least 4 years. It's about time to take care of it.

it is very easy and can capture most of the times my issue is errors that has no details about which file it happened to and if you close the browser you lose everything in the queue which is crazy

it's ok for some things but can be pretty flaky.

Often it requires the companion application... which is not such a big deal, but even then it can still be distinctly unreliable.

I have a Video Downloader app on my android phone which does a far better job, is much more dependable, saves in sensible formats, offers a better choice of download resolution options, in a much easier to follow way.
The android app also does simultaneous multi-downloads of the same files so you can download a big file in five minutes on the phone what take this addon twenty minutes to do.
By comparision if that android app got a 10/10 rating - which by my book, it does, this barely gets a 3/10.

I regularly have to just give up in disgust at this add-on's inability to save files and switch over to my phone.

Also I've downloaded files using this addon to discover they are in a ridiculous webm format - absolutely not useful to me at all, whereas the android app saves using the much more standard MP4 container.

The app developer really needs to take a long hard look at the alternatives and up their game if they wish for this addon to stay relevant.
