It's a very nice add-on and gives thunderbird a functionality it deserved already long ago!

I would be interested in this addon, but can't use it because my LDAP-Server uses jpegphoto as attribute and not thumbnailPhoto. Would it be possible to change the addon, so that the attribute for the contact photo could be selected (thumbnailPhoto, jpegPhoto, photo)?

Please try the new version available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/ldap-contact-photo/versions/ and let me know if it works.
