Seems to work know in Linux, but is incompatible with Locationbar². I know that AwesomeBar HD highlights the domain, but I also like the path-click function. I think that the protocol should not be hidden on https sites.
And the big drawback: customizing the search providers. I'm a big fan of Organize Search Engines as I have a lot of search engines. It would be great if AwesomeBar HD could be similar (or maybe even used the installed search engines)
I just recognized that I sometimes can't load a page by entering the address. I can't reproduce this bug yet, but it doesn't open the entered address when pressing enter. Keyword searches don't work, too.
And something for the feature wish list: suggestions. And not the suggestion of the default search engine (as it is in Chrome), but suggestions from the currently selected engine.
v11 has the ability to open the root page of the domain when doing a modified click on the url but not the each-path-segment of Locationbar². There's still some issues if you have both add-ons installed though.
For not hiding the https protocol, did you notice that the green/blue security block show up to indicate the encryption and identity?
