I like the DuckDuckGo search engine and what the DuckDuckGo team tries to do, but this extension blocks the proper behaviour of some WEB sites under FireFox for no good reason. Typical example is easyjet's web site (easyjet.com) where various links stop working once the DuckDuckGo extension ins installed.
So, I'd say "nice try, but no thanks".
Keep the good work on the seach engine, but either fix the extension or drop it.

DuckDuckGo is my home page. When I turn off DuckDuckGo in my extensions, when Firefox starts, I no longer get my DuckDuckGo home page. I get some advertisement for DuckDuckGo privacy extension. Is there a DuckDuckGo search field on that unwanted web page? Yes. But that is the only thing I want on my home page. I'm tempted to report this extension as malware because it modifies my home page without my consent.

This add on blocked comments on several websites I use. It took me awhile to figure out that this add on was causing the problem. I love Duck Duck Go but I don't love this add on.

Unfortunately, the add-on breaks some sites, preventing their links from working. This occurs even when the site is added to the whitelist. In order to use the broken sites, I had to restart FF with this add-on disabled. This is unacceptable behavior.

The ToS Privacy data that feeds the ranking system is not maintained at all. So most sites show a B+ rating even though they are not to be trusted at all. Very misleading.

На HTTPS не переключает даже на известных сайтах. Думаю, что с остальными функциями так же. Просто очередной шпион которого вы сами себе устанавливаете.

Why when I sync my Firefox account do you have to open a pop up with the other 10 add ons that feel this is necessary. I know you are installed, I installed the thing.

Отличное приложение, но возникла небольшая проблема. Я использую на компьютере антивирус ESET, одна из предоставленных им возможностей это защита банковских платежей. При вызове странички банковских платежей (список настраивается в антивирусе) в любом браузере, в т.ч. в Firefox происходит перенаправление на браузер "ESET Защита банковской оплаты". Но к сожалени. ваш add-on блокирует это ! И в результате открывается страничка https://help.eset.com/banking_protection/ru-RU/.
Никакие попытки отрегулировать это белым списком не помогли.
Перенаправление выглядит следующим образом http://eset.com/BPPRedirector/ESET-Redirect-Switch?token=ххххххххххххххххххххххх где ххххххххххххххххххххххх некий ключ генерируемый ESET.
Вынужден отключить ваш add-on. Восстановите пожалуйста работу add-on при активном браузере "ESET Защита банковской оплаты"

Great app, but there was a small problem. I use ESET antivirus on my computer, one of the opportunities provided to them is to protect bank payments. When you call a bank payment page (the list is configured in the antivirus) in any browser, incl. Firefox is redirected to the ESET Bank Payment Protection browser. But unfortunately. your add-on blocks it! As a result, the page https://help.eset.com/banking_protection/ru-RU/ opens.
No attempt to adjust this whitelisting helped.

Nachdem ich das Plugin gelöscht hatte wurde DuckDuckGo als Platzhalter in der Adresszeile angezeigt. Wenn ein Plugin meine persönlichen Einstellungen löscht, um sich einen Vorteil zu verschaffen, ist der Datenklau nicht weit.

Doesn't work with Waterfox... Please make it work on older versions of Firefox so Waterfox users can use it.

E.g., my search line is in Ukrainian, the results are in Russian, leading to Russian websites. Are you guys kidding me? How does it make you different from Google? Btw, your "partnership with Yandex" has a bad smell - of FSB.

Breaks several websites, including sites I've written, by arbitrarily redirecting HTTPS traffic to HTTP traffic.

Needless to say, that does not improve privacy.

so weit zwar ok, - aber wenn man es deinstalliert,
lässt sich die Startseite nicht mehr wirklich ändern - sie Springt immer wieder auf DuckDuckgo zurück.
Es lässt sich also nicht wirklich deinstallieren!

und sowas kenn ich eigentlich nur von Adware und ähnliches Zeug.

If you are wondering why Videos can't be Loaded on websites, then this Extension is very FAULTY.
I had to Uninstall this Extension, Because it was Blocking a Live TV channel website, from my Country Cyprus:

It couldn't load the video to watch the channel. Other browsers was loading the video with no problem.
I discovered that it was this Addon, Because I had to go through a "Painstaking process" Disabling ALL of my addons and start Enabling them back again from the start. One-by-one, to discover which Addon was faulty.
And this addon was blocking this channel video.
