Something is broken in the latest update that makes the url bar glitch out and flicker causing massive CPU usage.

It's related to doing multiple consecutive searches in a row using the page's form element, such as the youtube or google search boxes. Then the url bar will flicker between search term A and search term B.

The january 17 update broke it, at least not working with Google Images.

It has worked great,but lately as someone else has mentioned it causes my computer and the CPU to go crazy, several websites are affected, DuckDuckGo, Google, YouTube, Soundcloud and more. I spent days now trying to troubleshoot what was causing it (I have many extensions) and the moment I disabled this one, the cpu fans slowed down and my system is back to normal. Responsive and snappy.

Recently(?) started replacing + or %20 in URLs with regular spaces, which caused things like YouTube to freak out whenever I tried clicking on a video I searched for; as the URL would rapidly switch between the video URL and the search page URL. I also noticed a very high amount of CPU usage while this was all happening.

I'm using Floorp (a Firefox fork) and I have a few other add-ons enabled, so I don't wanna immediately push all the blame on it; however, disabling the add-on made all of these problems disappear.

It's great,very light extension it blocked tracking element and it's good to be pair with other extension, it's perfect for me.

Turning off the top switch doesn't disable this add-on???
The ETag filter breaks some websites functions that depends on ETag header.

Useful for many websites but it completely breaks google sheets search function. The search bar just doesn't appear with this on. Please add a method to whitelist specific domains.

I tried the test URL in the description. Doesn't actually clean anything.
Whether I click directly a link or use the "Copy Clean Link Location", it just goes to the tracker or gives the link with the tracker.

Breaks a lot of Google Sheets functionality, which is very frustrating, as I've used this extension for a long time, but the issues with Google Sheets are new. I'd happily update my review to a higher star rating if this issue was fixed.

I rather like the extension but as has been noted by others it breaks google sheets and also breaks google docs (albeit to a lesser extent). If this were fixed or a way provided to fix it, I would gladly give 5 stars and recommend to everyone.

Breaks Google Spreadsheet, with this addon enabled all charts from spreadsheet disappear. No way to whitelist spreadsheet domain so the only way is to disable the whole extension.

2024-12-12 Update: After years of existence, it still doesn't provide a simple way of adding exceptions, other than manipulating the rules file.
Today, I found that it somehow breaks functionality in Google Sheets. When the extension is enabled, basic keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl-F or Ctrl-H don't work.

This extension would be great… if it didn't break 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴. The worst being 3-D Secure payment redirections.
I end up leaving it disabled most of the time.

Maybe the first feature that this extension would have required is an easily manageable custom whitelist. I'll have to look into the contribution requirements one of those days…

It breaks google sheet functions, I noticed the filters in sheet not working any more and had to disable add-ons an re enable them one by one to track which one was breaking it

A great idea, but needs a way to define exclusions. Breaks desirable behaviour, for example, using Amazon wish lists.
