- by Firefox user 14305634, 6 dae geledeRated 5 out of 5Used to work like a charm, but for a while now, it does not auto-load the segments. They are only shown (and subsequently skipped) as soon as I try to time a segment myself in preparation to upload. I hope the devs can bring the old behaviour back =/
/edit: shoutout to the dev for responding so quickly, showing that they care for their extension! Back to five stars as the extension itself is awesome and dev clearly working on it. Thank you!
- by Cindy P, 7 dae geledeRated 2 out of 5For those looking to skip in-video ads and other annoyances, this extension is awesome. Almost every video I watch now has segments that are seamlessly skipped.
For those looking to help out and submit segments to the database, this extension is a nightmare. In just a few weeks of doing this, I had multiple "VIP" users of the extension stalk and harass me on social media after I was quick to submit segments on new videos in their "territory" (i.e. large channels). The extension provides a submission "leaderboard" that drives this toxic behavior.
- by Evan, 7 dae geledeRated 5 out of 5Truely an incredible addon, I cannot imagine youtube without it. It is rare that you find a sponsored segment that hasnt been added to the plugin, but when you do it is neat to be able to add the segment yourself.
- by zilexa, 12 dae geledeRated 4 out of 5What is unclear about this addon: does it ONLY block sponsors or also the regular video ads (prerolls) before a video and between videos in a playlist? And what about regular image ads on the website but outside the videoplayer?
I guess the question is: do I need 2 add-ons, yours and AdBlocker for Youtube? Or does your add-on also block actual advertisements that are easy to recognize/do not need crowd-sourced library?
