About this extension
Notion is your all-in-one workspace, where you can write, plan, collaborate and get organized. Take notes, keep databases, build a wiki, project manage your team — all with one tool.
We launched Notion Web Clipper so you can save any page on the web to your Notion workspace. Capture and organize all the articles, research and inspiration you want, and we’ll help you turn them into action.
SAVE WITH ONE CLICK.
If you come across something you want to keep, just hit the Notion button on the top right of your browser!
ORGANIZE IMMEDIATELY.
Choose exactly where you want to save your web pages. Add research to projects, articles to reading lists, etc.
TAG, SHARE, COMMENT.
Don't just store web pages and forget them. Notion makes it easy to turn them into action items, link them to projects, assign them to teammates, and more.
You can read the pages you clip on any device, online or off. Happy clipping! ✂️
FAQ
Q: The Web Clipper keeps asking me to log in.
A: Notion uses a cookie to authenticate requests from the Web Clipper. Because the extension's active domain is a moz-extension:// URI and not https://notion.so, it registers as a third-party cookie to Firefox.
If you are willing to add a single exception for the https://notion.so domain, the Web Clipper will work even if you have tracking protection enabled and all other third-party cookies blocked:
1. Open Firefox Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Permissions
2. Add "notion.so"
3. Click "Save Changes." (This step is important! Your preferences won't be saved otherwise.)
After adding this exception, you should be able to use the Web Clipper.
If you have further questions about our cookie usage or data privacy, feel free to reach out to team@makenotion.com, on Twitter at @NotionHQ, or via the ( ? ) at the bottom right of Notion — we'd be more than happy to chat.
Q: On Windows, Ctrl+Shift+K opens the Firefox Web Console instead of the Web Clipper.
A: Firefox for Windows uses this keyboard shortcut for the Web Console, and extension developers cannot override built-in developer shortcuts. Here's how you can set a new keyboard shortcut for the Web Clipper:
1. Navigate to about:addons
2. Click the gear-shaped settings button in the upper right, and select "Manage Extension Shortcuts"
3. Create a shortcut for Notion Web Clipper
Now you can use your custom shortcut to activate the Web Clipper.
