Simple and great idea. Common sense idea. Firefox 4 implements this.
Great add-on but, as NaviSF said, this feature is now available to the Awesome Bar by default.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that the Awesomebar has incorporated this feature as of Firefox 3.5 (or earlier: I was deleting some unused extensions and got rid of this one to see if Firefox had this feature yet, which it seems it now does.)
Small and effective.
Works great as what it says.
Great for you if you use the built-in function of location bar a lot.
this is what i call an idea so simple and effective that it leaves one wondering why did not anybody think of it before.
absolutely must be included in FF as default
Should have already been in firefox.
Essential Addon. This should have been included in FF3 by default.
Absolutely essential addon. The default behavior doesn't even make sense.. this works fantastically! Also I found this completely compatible with the oldbar extension if you dislike the AwesomeBar.
very helpful for those with less than 100% keyboard accuracy!
It has bugged me several times when I make a typo in my search terms, go back to edit them and then no results are found despite correct terms. Search relies on keyboard input and typos are a fact of life, this just makes the smart location bar that much smarter. Hope this makes it into final.
hope mozilla fix this bug.
It works as stated; I haven't run into any problems using it. Now, I no longer have to deal with the annoying disappearing dropdown when I'm correcting a mistake in the middle of a search.
Just awesome! Very unobtrusive, insanely simple and lightweight, just doing one thing and doing it great!
This add-on definitely enhances the Location Bar, addressing the little nits that didn't make it into Firefox 3.
Nice simple extension. Works just as described.
