Adds music/video controls and status to Firefox.Functionality
- Automatically pauses your music when starting a video
- Play/pause/skip toolbar buttons and keyboard shortcuts
- Song title toolbar button
- Alerts including song title, artist and album
When supported music or a video starts playing, a prompt is shown asking you if media events should be used for the site. If you choose to use media events, then Be Quiet! will automatically pause/resume the media on that site when another site starts playing. Additionally, you will be able to use the toolbar buttons, keyboard shortcuts to control playback and a like button (on supported sites).
You will likely want to go to the toolbar customization window to drag some extra goodies onto your toolbar. Right-click on your tabs toolbar and go to customize. There you will find a play/pause button, a like button, media previous/next buttons and a song title button. You can drag them onto any toolbar you like.
Clicking on the song title button gives you quick access to the tab you currently have playing so you don't have to worry about hunting it down. Hovering over it will show additional media information if available. Right clicking on either the play/pause button or the song title button provides quick access to settings and a list of tabs with supported media.
So sit back, relax, play some music or watch some videos, and enjoy!Settings
