Palmeiras Soccer theme

Easily the 1st or 2nd from the best 5 Palmeiras themes Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

For the last year, it has been my preferred and permanent theme. Fits greatly for one-line toolbar users like me.

Well, that was until Firefox 55 Dev Edition. Now (as always) Fx devs messed with the toolbar default colors, and now the default white buttons don't fit so good on top of this theme. That's a shame.

Display Contact Photo

Long time companion add-on, but broken by v52 Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

I keep my rating of 4 stars, 'cause this is one of the add-ons I had always been in love with.

Unfortunately TB 52 broke it, hope it gets updated. Anyway, guess I'll try to check the source to find out what it's going on.

I disagree with the "Abandonware" review... last update was on Mar 2016, and by the time it was working ok... why would you need to update it?

For while, will check if there are similar ones, but waiting for this one to be back.

Google™ Translator

THE Definitive Translation Add-on Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Translation add-ons: you find lots of them, and most of them are simple, going straight to the subject. It's the features that make a difference. So establish your "requisites" and search for them.
For my taste, Google Translator has everything I need and been searching for:
- a quick translation panel activated by shortcut (toolbar button too, but I'm more of a keyb man)
- text-to-speech WITHOUT handling the function to a Google Translator tab (or I could do it myself with a few keystrokes)
- translation popup when selecting text
That's pretty much for me. Of course, I loved the feature of doing in-page translations of some other add-on (can't remember which one), but it became a feature I rarely used.
Google Translator: light, rich, and straight to the point. Thanks a LOT, Andy - as always!

Drag & DropZones (Revived)

It lives! Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Oh, I miss Web Search Pro so much! And I didn't imagine you were Captain Caveman, good to know you're back in the scene. I miss so much the "group search" from WSPro, made my medicine online quoting so quick! ;-)
OK, about DDZ Revived: thanks!! Worked like a charm so far, will keep on updating here if anything changes, but running as intended.
What I missed (but it's fully usable, thanks!): maybe updating search engines here and there would be cool, as we add and remove them along the time. This would avoid inserting custom URLs since, without WSPro I now do my searches mostly from the awesome bar (and created keyworded bookmarks to make it easier).
Also, maybe it'd be cool to have one's keyworded bookmarks on the list for adding them.
The old visual (translucent) was cool... ok, just GUI details. :-)

Thanks man! Found you again through Native Client (required by YT Downloader-WE), thanks for both!

To Google Translate

Simple, straight to the point Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Like Linux utilities, it's simple, directed to one function and works. I just won't use it, 'cause it's not the kind of addon I was searching for, I really enjoy more the small and quick popups for translation, not a new tab containing the function.
But it does work and it's as light as it should be. Very good improvement allowing the languages change.

Save Images

Once, the greatest of all Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

For now, as I've browsed some of the answers here by Lumox, I just came by to say a huge THANK YOU. This extension saves time, does its job gracefully, was once uncomparable for saving images. My "relationship" with it was of a child: initially, I just wanted for saving images from the current tab. Then I slowly got into the more advanced settings.
The Firefox extensions scene became obscure for quite some time already, and this frustrates most of the best extensions devs. One really needs to LOVE Firefox to keep up with so many confusing changes.
Today, there are some better extensions for the same task and are compatible with the newest Firefox changes. All in all, I totally understand Lumox: patience has its limit.
C ya!

Tab Tree

Very good alternative to Tree Style Tab Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

This add-on indeed feels faster than Tree Style Tab. However, in a direct comparison, I still miss the Auto Shrink option from TST and *mainly* the fact that TST shows additional tab icons, the most important being the "tab has audio" button, which allows any sound from that one to be muted. OK, you can just right-click and mute, but the icon is somewhat faster.
However, the additional navigation hotkeys are superb. It'd be just great if they could be customized.

Truly useful for "orphans" of Mouseless Browsing Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Although it's pretty different from the (great) experience I had with Mouseless Browsing, I see great potential in it, and am already using and getting used to it. IMHO, keys for moving between tabs, moving tabs and navigation history are close to useless, since there are already shortcuts for them which I'm pretty used to. Anyway, it's probably a matter of preference, it's nice to give users the option.
I lack an "open link in background tab" without having to change the main Fx preference, and also a way to have the blobs already displayed when the page is done loading.
Anyway, as I said, I'm already liking it. It misses some links (like LinkedIn's job applying popup), but still works very well at production level. Looking forward for more features!

YouTube™ Video and Audio Downloader

Hands down the best video downloader Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

I can only compare it to Video DownloadHelper, the previous reference I had when it comes to video downloading, specially from YouTube. I have them both installed, as VDH still does a great job 'cause it's still more mature and its broad range of covered sites is also second to none.

I prefer YouTube Video and Audio Downloader for YouTube, however. The devs did a great job on specializing it. On that matter, I really like that:
* the current downloads are named after the video title (helps on organizing multiple downloads, VDH calls them "media*")
* it relies on great and FREE FFMPEG to do some of the manipulation, while VDH relies on an unregistered libav (it's very good also, but lack of a $29 registration gives you a big QR sign on a video corner)
* its UI is more beautiful and quick - ok, that's low priority :-)

Only problem I've experienced so far is that, due to the way YouTube loads videos, the Download button may not appear most of the time - that really sucks. I worked around that by having the toolbar button available (and first time I thought about it, I also didn't find it - had to wait between some restarts for it to appear again), so I can quickly use its popup. Worked around that almost permanently by using the Quick Download hotkey (as most of the time, I download using the highest quality available), but I know that won't cover all of the cases.

I agree with most of the review thkbrew89 has done below, maybe except for item 2, as I didn't find any problems with that - so far.

Keep up the good work, guys, and thanks for such a very good extension!

IE View Lite

This one once was truly useful; not even working by Fx v35.0.1 Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Will give 3 stars for good services provided in the past. As the last review said, there's a long time I don't even need it. IE got much better, and I also tend to use it close to zero times, since most of the sites I do access have no more problems with the "alternative" guys. ;-)

In fact, I was going to use IE View to open a page on Tor Browser. Oh well. Will find some other way just to be cool. I can always copy and paste. ;-)

BTW, it seems the site really doesn't exist anymore. Also, the options window generate some errors in the console.

Almost what I was looking for Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

If you'll use it for translations to one of the five choices of languages it offers, it works really great. I've found the "translate on hover" option a bit annoying, although practical, it would translate lots of things I wasn't expecting it to.
Unfortunately, I'd like to translate to pt-BR and that's not an option.
It would also be cool if you could have more shortcuts options or a context menu one.
All in all, it works pretty good. Won't use it 'cause of the lack of languages, but this would be the one I'd stick to today.

TT DeepDark

Great dark theme, easy on the eyes Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I had this theme installed long time, but for some reason I changed back to default in some point. As I was feeling adventurous again, I switched back to it and could just remember how refreshing is to look at TB's window when it's active, even though messages themselves are not changed in any way (it challenges my eyes a bit, but it's more than ok). Very pleasant theme to work, study, get updated, even just to see each of the details. :-)Only "problem" I'm facing (but trying to get used to it) is I can't tell which one is the highlighted message in message list. I like the striped view (to that subtle clue for each line, great!), but if the current message is one with the lighter background, I can't tell where it is. Also, when I'm selecting a group of messages and then I decide to select an isolated one (navigating with Ctrl-Up|Down), I also can't see where the cursor is at.Maybe it's by design, maybe it's because I'm an avid keyboard user... anyway, I'm trying to get used to that, but if there's some hack I can do, please someone let me know! ;-)

Thanks for such a great theme, Steva!

EDIT: Never mind, I found my way into the CSS. Took me 2 hours but I'm happy to have solved it ( Still, I'm just curious if it was by design or not. Thanks!

One of those perfect add-ons! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I can't really emphasize enough how great this extension is. Not that I need MHT files on a daily basis, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how much care the dev placed on this extension. The changelogs are an example of what everyone should do to their extensions. I know few extensions that can do ONE thing so brightly, almost in every way you can imagine. Congrats for such dedication!

Facebook App Theme

Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

To be true, I didn't check the extension yet, but as a good suggestion, I think the dev could include some screenshots of what it does look like. For any theme (even as an extension), this is what I expect for.

Aquabird Black

Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

The provided screenshot could REALLY be bigger. It's usually better to preview themes screenshots before downloading, installing, etc.

Anyway I trusted the reviews. The changed elements are quality ones, but still this theme is not for me. Don't like the presence of silver and white lines here and there. Also combo box items (like when choosing a recipient) are almost unreadable (black text on dark background). Didn't spend many minutes, overall it's not for my taste, but I admit it's generally well done.

PitchDark for TB

Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Minimalistic and interesting, basically a dark TB version with not many subtle element changes, just colors. And I like that.

Still not the one for my taste, but a good dark theme from the ones I've tested so fat. Won't keep it yet, but it's good.
