A great help, but... Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
When using with DownThemAll, if you download several things in succession, you end up with a DTA manager tab opened for each download. It would be much preferable if it could be made to check whether it needs to open a new tab or just activate an existing one (Or just do nothing, because the correct tab already exists). Using the sidebar option at least provides just one location for the Manager, but I tend to download items with long filenames, which are better displayed in a tab. If a check were created to avoid duplicate tabs, this would be perfect. As it is, it is still much better than no control at all.
Tooltip Recovered Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Not sure what was hiding the tooltip, but futzing with settings appears to have brought it back. Love the extension, do wish there was an obvious way to report problems other than public reviews.
Woot! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Yay! They added the necessary reminder information in the reload mouseover information. I was able to get rid of two other reload extensions now that I can easily recall how to reload, for example, just images that did not load properly. Very pleased with this extension, and will be keeping it in my collection henceforth. :-)Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (184.108.40.206-signed). Efficient Address Protection! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Found a workaround for my previous issue- the wildcards work in all fields, not just the ones where they are entered by default. So, the Spamgourmet domains that are not included can be coded as a "custom domain" address and configured automatically. Definitely five stars! Hoping this is compatible with 4.0 or will be soon, as it is amazingly handy!Cet utilisateur a une revue précédente sur ce module.

I love the ability to group my addons into collections, and this is literally the first addon I install in a new setup of Firefox. With the Massive Extender added, there is only one PITA left; the fact that auto-publishers are attached to one profile permanently, and can't be transferred without copying some obscure settings from the about:config of the original profile. Which is a problem when you lose the original profile entirely, as in a hard drive crash or theft of a computer. I would very much like a simple way to change the profile associated with an autopublisher, so that I don't have to go digging around in config files every time I do a clean install of Firefox. No, making a new autopublisher is not the same, especially as from what I can tell, short-names are useable once only, so if you lose access to the original autopublisher, say goodbye to the catchy URL you came up with.
My other issue is that there isn't a distinct page for this add-on. I understand that the collections page is probably the most relevant much of the time, but it bugs me that users are left guessing as to how to report bugs or request features to this addon. The ability to contact the developers who actually work on this addon specifically would be very helpful.
Far Too Aggressive Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
This tool takes over far too many aspects of the UI for my tastes, making conversion an all-or-nothing proposition. I like having some of my bookmarks as quick links in my bookmarks toolbar- this extension takes over the entire bookmarks toolbar, removing those quick links. It also prevents me from adding other semi-bookmark buttons to the toolbar, like Google Shortcuts. By default, it also takes over the Search Bar, removing my carefully-chosen search engines and replacing them with a dropdown menu of only one item and quicklinks to news-oriented search engines I don't use. Thankfully, this can be turned off, as can its takeover of the Awesome Bar, but I have not found a way to regain control of my Bookmarks Toolbar without getting rid of this extension.
I like the idea, but this extension needs to play a lot more politely with other solutions if it wants a place in my collection. I was looking forward to a new way to organize my bookmarks and combine my reading list with my bookmarks. Instead, I apparently downloaded an entire system meant to change how I browse, and I can't put in only the features I want to use.

I like this addon very much for my own use, but I absolutely love it as a tool in my quest to get my boyfriend and friends that I do tech support for to use temporary emails. Now that there is a button to let them create the throwaway addresses, there is one less reason for them to keep tossing their real address in "because it was simpler". :-)
I do notice one significant lack, however; only a few domains are included in the Spamgourmet dropdown menu, and the one I prefer (xoxy.net) doesn't happen to be one of them, so I have to choose between using the wonderful specific SG functions but breaking the pattern I have chosen, or using one of the less-specific entries and modifying each one myself, which removes a lot of the benefits when using SG with this addon. I hope that user modifiable domain lists are in the future. :-J
Four stars because there is a significant usability glitch for myself personally; five once it works out-of-the box without experienced SG users risking having to change domains.

Like many others, I liked the ability to couple my chosen persona with my favorite theme, which has been removed in the latest update. Boo...Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.5.1).

I adore this addon, but as of one of the last FF updates, it has broken on my system, and there is no way to contact the developer with a bug report. :-(
I have been putting my user folders in non-default places for years, to keep them closer to the "surface" and easier to back up before a system wipe. This has never caused a problem before. As of a few FF updates ago (since 3.5, I think), Smart Bookmarks Toolbar stopped working. I can make new profiles, and it works fine- as long as I use the default FF-generated folders. If I use my preferred folder, it doesn't work at all.
I don't know enough about how this works to fix it, and I really don't like using the buried profile folders, but now I have to choose between my preferred profile location and using this addon. :-(

I second lead_diag's comments. I need this just rarely enough to make it difficult to remember which keys do what, and having to look it up makes this otherwise incredibly useful extension much less efficient. I would greatly prefer a right-click menu to having to remember key+click combinations. If I did not have to look up this page every time I need to use the thing, it would be a five-star extension and a permanent member of my list. As it is, I am keeping it largely in hopes that a menu will be added.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.0).
Nice Start, Needs More Work Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
I currently have this primarily to give me back my multi-row tab bar, and unless some changes are made, I will probably switch to Tab Mix Plus once it finishes compatibility updates with FF3.
The Tab Coloring interferes with PageStyle2Tab, even with "never override theme" checked, and I prefer that to straight colors for organization. The ability to turn off tab coloration entirely is definitely needed for users like me.
I also miss the Lock and Protect Features, and I would like to see a Close Tab button both on the far right and on each tab, as in FF2.
All in all, very nice if you want all the features, but if you just want to add a few features, this is a bit much.
