Please fix this for FF7+
In FF7 it starts to work weirdly.

Also I want to reduce this by a star because the problems and quirks can be easily fixed and this should ship default with Firefox. But it doesnt look like work is being put into it...

Major problem.I have "Browse by keyword" setup so I like to type a phrase in my url bar sometimes. My phrase is "sql where in"however it keeps auto completing the word "in" to "inventory" with "ventory" highlighted. I press backspace then it drops down the first suggestion and selects it, so if I hit enter it will go to that first match. I press escape to cancel the speak words first match, but then it auto completes the word again to "ventory" while highlighted, I hit backspace and repeat forever.

For those saying they use key word search (I also set back up the Browse by Name method of Firefox 3, wish they didnt do away with that). I do this a lot as well. I just hit escape and then enter. Not too hard and barely slows you down at all.
I think having the addon select the first entry is CRITICAL. It makes browsing blazing fast.

The only issue is reloading tabs on switch. Can you please add like a hotkey for that. Like right now if you press shift+enter on a tab switch it will just load that url in the current tab. So can you make it so only if we press ctrl+enter it will switch to tab and reload. If no ctrl+enter then it will just switch to tab.

Also to your code after the // Ignore tabs for switching tabs
Not only should you ignore if ctrl is pressed but also if alt is pressed. As this opens the url in a new tab, but now closing this newly opened tab after load takes you back to the tab it would have switched to, rather then the last tab we had used.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for working more on this I have had much less problems.

One thing though:
I am on a message board. Url is like blah111 however if click "post message" and then submit that message the url is now blah111. Now when i am in another tab and type in blah it brings this up as "Switch to tab" and when i get there it reloads which is GREAT! now i can see the new posts
HOWEVER
in some cases i dont want the page to reload on tab switch
is there anyway you can make this like predicitive new tab, the first time switch to that url it doesnt reload but watches you. if you switch to it and reload it within 3 seconds it registers that.
only issue i see with that is if someone does get it into reloading on every tab switch habit for that url, i cant think of an automatic way to detect they dont want reload anymore. (possibly instead of reloading right away have a 1 second timer count down where the user can hit escape so it doesnt reload, however this removes from the instantness, just an idea)

Once again i absolutely love love love this addon. Please make it work with instant preview.

Please please work on this more.
I have issues when i want to search something. I type it into the urlbar and even though it is completely unrelated to the top hit, it still has it selected, if i hit enter it takes me to that top hit. so instead i have to hit esc then enter :(
