A good extensions for looking up words in English that you may have not known, especially if you are not an English native speaker. The use of this is straightforward and intuitive.

Though not very crucial add-on, its sometimes nice to have a prompt dictionary for unclear words in English. You just have to select a word and then get its meaning.

Crashed Firefox 33.1.1 Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Installed this add-on in Firefox 33.1.1. It rendered the browser completely useless. Had to restart Firefox with all add-ons disabled and remove this dictionary within 1 minute of installing it!

Disappointing for Firefox 33.0 Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

This addon was simple and worked efficiently. Unfortunately, the icon which was placed on my bookmarks toolbar upon installation, is unmovable. So in full screen mode, without the bookmarks toolbar, the tool is useless. Also, the icon is rather large, adding depth to the toolbar that can't be spared.

I would be able to use it if this was remedied.

I feel this would have been more appropriately sent to the support section, but that link doesn’t seem to be working, and the support e-mail is only for outlook, g-mail and yahoo accounts, which I do not have. I have downloaded this app twice now and on both occasions failed to receive the icon on the tool bar. I fully accept that this could be due to a setting on my own computer and easily rectified. I still believe this would be a useful app for me if I can find a way to make it work and thus will not reduce the rating to 1 star. Please advise me on how to adjust my settings to allow the icon.

Yes, you are right

The issue must be with your browser's settings. I don't get such reports often so I guess another icon prevents this add-on's icon from showing up.

Very good funtional add-on BUT... Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Every time I open the FireFox browser, this add-on wanting permission to "ADVERTISE" == tracking me-in my book !!! PLUS, I am steady getting add-ons to stop all the advertising--accidentally "customized" to items I have searched for on the internet--..Just saying... Be prepared...

doesn't work Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

I'm running the latest Firefox and Windows 7, but this add-on doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting that I need to fix?

The dictionary is only for a single word

You need to select a single word (using the mouse) and then click the "ABC" icon on the right-top corner of the browser.
