Where is styles."hidePluginNotifications" at new version 0.0.7? Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Great addon... I'm just finding strange the "styles.hidePluginNotifications" present at old versions disappeared... So i'm reverting to 0.0.4 cause with it i can hide the nagging warn to unblock flash at every page that has it... At 0.0.7 i can't do it cause "styles.hidePluginNotifications" has gone...

All in-one, click to play element Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Better than Flashblock! Keep up the good work!!!

In the latest nightlies (FF35), there is now the problem that clicking on the placeholder causes a popup asking if to allow or continue blocking, as opposed to the old behaviour of just allowing.

Otherwise, works perfectly.

Indepensible add-on for still-needed feature Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I have been annoyed at Mozilla ever since they removed click-to-play from Firefox. Other addons that predate Firefox's click-to-play feature that continue to provide click-to-play functionality work great, but the one I preferred could be bypassed by malicious websites. Enter this addon, which takes its place, and is harder for sites to work around.

Note that to click-to-play Flash elements, the element must be Flash. If you've enabled the HTML5 player on YouTube, for instance, then this addon isn't going to work because HTML5 isn't a plugin in Firefox. This add-on functioned as intended with FF 31.0 with YouTube set to use the Flash-based player, I had to click-to-play to load YouTube flash videos. It's still working that way under 32.0.

Does nothing on my system (FireFox 31.0) Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

I would have loved it if this worked, but it does not.

Went to YouTube and all videos begin to load when the pages come up. Went to the ADOBE site to check access to FLASH and everything is the same. Restarted Firefox, and it is still the same. As for the comments in the Firefox Add-ons tab from the author, there is no entry in my about:config for :

"extensions.uaSad@ClickToPlayPerElement"

Also my about:config "plugins.click_to_play" is set to true

There is an about:config element called :

"extensions.ClickToPlayPerElement@uaSad.addons.mozilla.org.install-event-fired"

nothing else comes up under "@uaSad" of any real interest.

Great addon. Be sure to check the preference extensions.uaSad@ClickToPlayPerElement.styles.hidePluginNotifications (in about:config) if you want to get rid of that annoying "Allow site.com to run Adobe Flash?" bar that appears in every site that tries to use flash (you can always allow or disallow that clicking in the icon in the address bar, then 'More information', 'Permissions' and 'Activate plugins', or just setting the preference to 'false' again (the bar appears and disappears instantaneously)).

Thank you very much for writing this great addon.

Missing required option Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

"On about:addons (plugins page) required plugin must be 'Ask to activate.'" However I only see "Always activate"and "never activate." How do I get the ask option?

Works great!
I don't know why they remove that feature. They are making Firefox more and more unusable with each version.

very useful Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

finnally "click to play" is not "double click to play" any more :)
@mozilla please implement this maybe in the same dialog as "allow and Remember"

Great work! Confirming every "click-to-play" with an additional permission click (!) was absolutely insane -- thanks for fixing it!

Awesome! I finally get the right behavior from Firefox again. I am on nightly so when some evil Firefox developer took away this essential feature I almost cried. Flashblock is reasonable but the original click to play from Firefox is just perfect. I hope someone slaps some sense in that Firefox developer that made the nag popups for plugins. What were/are they thinking?
