Old, but works very well... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I guess I'm a Gmail Manager orphan (waited and waited for bug-fixes that never came), but I should've used this add-on from the start.
Working flawlessly on my Windows 10 box, running FF 49.0.1. Simply to set up, doesn't cause any issues when Google change Gmail. Great stuff.
Time to move on... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Okay, I've given it a good few weeks now and no solution to the issue - blaming Google for their changes is no solution. I suggest giving Gmail Checker a whirl. It may be old, but it works 100% with the 12 gmail accounts I use. Been using it for 3 weeks now on my test systems - time to go live! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1). This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
Handy, but not working at the moment. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Yep, same issue - displays the GMail webpage and have to manually enter the password.
Another recent annoyance (bug?) is that the mail snippets windows often appears at the mouse-location, rather than popping up at the appropriate location on the add-on bar.
Gmail login issues - security alerts... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Something has changed (possibly at the Gmail end?) and now, whenever I log into my Gmail accounts via Gmail Manager I received a security warning and have to go through the two-step validation, after which I have to change my Gmail password.
This is a pain and since I have multiple gmail accounts I've been forced to change passwords almost every day.
It seems that the Gmail servers are seeing Gmail Manager as a new/suspicious device...
Good, but seems to be ~24 hours out... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I've been using this for a while, but recently used it to check the New moon times in my location (Melbourne, Australia) and it appears the moon times are incorrect. As of today (8-Feb-2016) Sun Cult is showing the next New Moon as 8/3/2016 10:12:27, whereas my local (Melb. Planetarium) is showing the New Mon at 09-Mar-2016, 11:54. That's more than one whole day out... Which servers does Sun Cult use for it's moon phases/times?
Great effort - fully working again... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nice, very nice. It's good to see a good dev getting hold of this project. Working very well under FF43.0 on Win10. Keep up the great work! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7-beta.1.1-signed).
Used to be a useful add-on, not any more... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This add-on used to be a quick and simple way of downloading vids (primarily from YouTube), but as of the version 5 (I think that's when it went 'bad') you're forced to install a paid extra.
The publishers complain about 'fake' 1-star reviews, but let me tell you, there are plenty of genuine users like me who are looking for an alternative. I also suspect that many of the recent 5-star reviews are fake...
Broken with FF19 - privacy mode... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Used to work fine before installing FF19 (and now, 20.0.1), but as a few other reviewers have mentioned, it's now broken when using privacy mode. Doesn't look like it's been updated for a while, so I may have to look elsewhere...
