Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Assume XMarks; No excuses! Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Negotiate and assume XMarks in their dieing days.
Use their platform to perfect this potential software add-on.
It seems so simple, regardless of money, that to keep users you need an edge and this has been the greatest edge of Firefox for Years now.

JUST DO IT
Take the leap, assume the XMARKS servers, protocols, and software.
Butcher out all others if you want and ensure that it only works with Firefox if you feel necessary.
Firefox Sync, in its current form, can not compete with what XMarks has done, and apparently will nopt be able to do so for some time. Better that Mozilla assume a working project to build on in this tumultuous time.

Oops...DevArt Changes screwed Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Oops...apparently DeviantART changed a whole bunch of stuff recently a just burned everyone who uses this add-on. What is the possibility of an upgrade???

Tab History Menu

Thanks so much...works like a champ with TM+ with teh note above

Tab Mix Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just completed 2 weeks with Jaberwocky, and wish I hadn't.
I initially did this to get the APP Tab capability, but ultimately not worth it.

I was greatly unimpressed, and even more so to see Jaberwocky listed as a recommended over Tab Mix +

I am back to Tab Mix + Now and gratefully so....

It is my hope that a functionality similar to APP TAB can be added by Tab Mix +, as apparently the creators of APP TAB have an excuse a mile long, that seems to translate one of 2 ways:
1.) I am too lazy to bother
2.) I am in bed with Jaberwocky

I have used and supported Tab Mix + for years, apparently I will continue to do so happily

Tabberwocky

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

For a beginner Add-on: This is great.

But.....
Tabmix+ it is not, and at his rate never will be.
It is not so much that I am disappointed, it is that I had to add another 6 addons to simulate TabMix+, and only to get APP Tab working....
Ultimately it is not worth it to me.
I believe that TabMix+ may ultimately add a similar feature that will mimic this capability, so for now I will wait.

It is great work, and clean, but not as good as TabMix+ (Yet?)

I will also say....considering that this is a recommended addon...I am further disappointed

Profile Manager and Synchronizer

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

An excellent tool. I do really value it.
I have run into a snag however.
I also operate on a computer that has a local install. There for I utilize a portable version of firefox on a separate partition.
After install, this addon recognized the Profile in the C: Drive. and attempted to meld this portable version with teh default from the installed version.
A way to exempt profiles would be great. And top off this addon perfectly.
If there is already a way to do this, all the beeter, as I am also looking into this as a portable solution for my thumb drive, and do not wish to mess with Native Firefox al ready installed

Provider for Google Calendar

Moving my business Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Well Done
Very well done ;)

I sync to 5 different computers over 3 US States + a mobile laptop, and the fact that my calendar can be manipulated and adjusted as need my several different people, without having to sign into Google, is excellent.

I eagerly await the fix of the bug that will not allow off line reading or archiving, but this small issue has not been a deterrent for over 2 years now.
The bug is also outside of this addons purview.

Thanks for your hard work and the latest update

Tab Popup

5 stars worth, but for one personal issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I would give this attachment 5 stars, but for one little annoyance.
I can not change the color of the preview box.
It's light blue I actually find annoying, and it does not match my theme at all.
Although I have modified this directly, there is no easy option to adjust this without hacking.
Give the ability to change the frame preview color and the font options (Color, size, font, etc) and that would polish this addon right up to the 5 stars.

xSidebar for Thunderbird

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am thinking that this is a good start. It can be more!
I like the instant access to contacts and Add-Ons, but I would like to see a switchable window to include the Folders sidebar. If this could be integrated it would be great. A button to quickly access the side bar sow/hide would also be a great addition.
I would also suggest navigation buttons on the top menu bar of the side bar for quicker access from one window to the next.
This by no means "all-in-one-sidebar" and it was not meant to be, nor should it be modeled in the same fashion.
I like what is happening here, and hopefully more options will be made available as a replacement for the folders sidebar.
I will be watching this Add-On.
