My Reviews

Show All Body Parts

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension should be part of Thunderbird. Great for strange proprietary E-Mails, "txt" attachments, and bunch of other contents... It'd be nicer if it changed based on the sender.

Reload Plus

Pretty darn useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Definitely a help to those of us on a bad connection. The bug I had with multiple monitors was fixed by the dev build, and the extension works flawlessly.

Google Adsense Checker

Good, but could use some work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's wonderful to have a functioning AdSense checker, and it's a pretty simplistic and clean design at that. I would, however, like to mention that the program ignores the last cent column because of a flawed RegExp. The correct pattern should be \d+.{1}\d\d on line 192.

PimpZilla

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Needs a bit of work. Numeric textboxes with Up/Down arrows look atrocious (see Privacy in Options in 3.5), the number of lines of an Add-on description in the Add-ons window makes the buttons for the Add-on cut off, the Get Add-ons tab doesn't have an image (it shows the whole set of images), etcetera.

Bookmark Duplicate Detector Master

Useful for messy bookmarks Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The interface for removing the bookmarks could be a little less in height, but it was simplistic and easy to use. A little strange that Firefox 1.0-2.0 got more options and features than 3.0/3.5. It does help weed out duplicates, regardless, which is apparently all you wanted this to do!

Deepthought

A little rough, but has potential. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The Preferences interface could use quite a bit of work, and some testing on multiple platforms. The actual extension should probably check the current URL before showing itself, or a user will get some strange results by clicking on the context menu item on non-search pages. Give it a bit more work, and you'll have a good extension.

View Cookies

Still useful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

View Cookies does a much better job at displaying the Cookies for the current page than the built-in cookie display under the Security tab.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9).

Update Notifier

Hey, you've got updates! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Lots of features in this little notifier, and no problems in sight. The ability to control how often updates are checked for is pretty nifty, being able to restart Firefox with the icon is even cooler, and automatic installation of updates just takes the cake.

Track Package

Great Extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you order online on a regular basis, you'll want Track Package. I tried to make an extension similar to this, but scrapped it when I found this one.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4).

Tab History

Needs to be built in Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension shouldn't have to exist. The feature it adds should be built right into Firefox. Anyone who does any serious multi-tab browsing will want history to be retained in new tabs.

SmoothWheel

Smooth Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Smooth scrolling is always nice. I don't use the the accelerators or other stuff, but simply scrolling smoothly with the default settings is all I needed.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.44.19.20090811.3).

ShowIP

It shows the IP Rated 5 out of 5 stars

And then some. This tool is extensive for such a simple purpose. ShowIP is for the curious user, interested in finding more information about the owner of a domain, what domains are hosted on the same server, or where the server is.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.17).

ReloadEvery

Every Day Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this extension every single day. If you're a member of any fast-paced forum system or frequent a quickly updating website, you'll love this extension.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.5.1).

Open In RegEdit

Has its Uses Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you read tutorials on how to tweak your computer often, this Open In RegEdit can save you a lot of time. Not many people will make use of this extension, but those who do will surely love it.

Key Manager

Powerful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm amazed at how powerful this extension is. The UI's a little clunky, but the tools are anything but weak. If it involves cryptography, chances are Key Manager can do it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.3.20090714).

Image Zoom

Details, Details Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you want to see an image with more detail, this is your extension. There isn't often a very practical application for Image Zoom, but you never know when you'll want to see an image three times its normal size.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).

IE Tab

No IE! Yay! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Even with Internet Explorer uninstalled (Thank you Windows 7!), this extension still works as expected, letting me view web pages in Internet Explorer without having it on my computer. That's ten shades of awesome right there.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.20090525).

Html Validator

Quick Validation! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great tool for web development, if you care about following W3C standards. It's also pretty useful if you want to make a point about the number of W3C errors relating to the overall stability of a website. I love that a quick glance at the bottom of my screen can tell me if any changes I made to a page are right or wrong and can easily find the offending line, all without visiting the w3c validator webpage.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.5.8).

SearchPreview

See where you're clicking! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Quick little previews that let you know what it is you'll be looking at before you click can save so much time when you're looking for something specific or trying to find a site you once saw. I'm surprised Google hasn't implemented something like this in their search results by default.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.22).

Flagfox

Global Awareness! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's pretty interesting to see where the content you're looking at is coming from, and also helpful to avoid phishing scams. The GeoTool, Wiki, and Whois are a wonderful touch as well, making this extension more useful than you'd expect.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.16).
