My Reviews
Proportional NewTab
It works on Firefox 40 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Finally, I can have more then three or four thumbnails again. Thanks!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).Newtab: Rows & Columns
Not working on Firefox 40 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Seems to have no effect. :-(
Extra Folder Columns
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
In TB38, this is again standard functionality but hidden in View => Layout => Folder Pane Columns.
Thanks to the add-on developer for helping us out for such a long time.
trails
Not working on Firefox 36 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Makes the sidebar unusable even for other content.
Classic Theme Restorer (Fx29-56)
If I had not found this add-on, I think I'd have to abandon Firefox. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks, man, thanks! And it also helps add-ons work again which do not work properly anymore with the n-th overhaul of design (eg Pocket).

Really helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Working fine, it really helps me a lot, having correspondents in several countries speaking different languages.
I'm just wondering where the data is stored? For trouble-shooting... you won't need it in everyday life. And if there was some indicator (flag, or just text) in the status bar, that would be lovely. Just some suggestion for future versions.
EDIT 2015-01-10: Thanks for the reply! I found the data in the user preferences (file pref.js or preferences extensions.automatic_dictionary.* in config editor). As for the little status bar flag I dreamt about, I contacted him directly and got the answer that he prefers to keep the add-on as simple as possible (and I do agree).
Styles Tuner
Simple and efficient Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This will color certain elements on any web page according to their HTML tags (eg "li.row), it's rather easy and does not require any further knowledge of CSS (just a rough understanding of what HTML tags are may be useful).
Yet it will not work with any site, for example with the feed reader bazqux.com - I have not yet figured out when the extension will be invoked. But it works fine with feedly.com, which should be using javascript to add text to the web site, too.
Block Content (img,css,js,...)
Thanks, you saved me! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I don't know why more and more websites are putting videos, they may think it's funny, I think it's annoying, and I don't see why a browser should support this. Thanks to mdsy, I can now browse without being disturbed.
Scroll Highlight
Nice feature but no configuration possible Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's a really nice feature to help you to continue reading after scrolling down a page.
Yet it would be nice to be able to configure the line (opacity, time to show), which is not possible yet.
EmailPicky 4
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works fine for me, even on IMAP account, and offers quite a lot of options (only TO, FROM, CC etc).
FfChrome
Great idea - but with side-effects Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The context menu in itself is shortened as expected, five stars for this, I was waiting for such an extension for so long.
But there are side-effects... for example, the menu of the ScreenGrab extensions becomes "shortened" and thus completely invisible.
Tab Grenade
Nothing special - closes all tabs and creates a list Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Will close all tabs and create a page from where you can re-open them. No history or form data maintained. Opened tabs will not be removed from the list.
I'd rather recommend Read-it-later, bootstack, or add-ons to bookmark all tabs.
Pinboard IncSearch
Useful and fast (but hidden in tools menu) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Seems to download all pinboard bookmarks and performs a rather fast search on them. Great !
The only drawback is that is not really integrated into Firefox (e.g. as a sidebar) but that you have to run it from the tools menu (I was struggling a little while before I found that out).
SortPref
No more thread view by default Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Finally a way to set the normal list view as default again.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great! And now you can even specify in which directory the data is stored so it works seamlessly with synchronisation software like Dropbox :-)

Nice, handy, does what it says. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
For date format options, look at http://jamescookie.com/extensions/datepicker.html
Sort Tabs by URL
Great, accessible via Tool Menu now Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Sorting by URL seems to be the most natural way to cope with a huge number of tabs opened. Simple to use (thanks to entry in tools menu).

Best highlighter so far Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Simple but efficient highlighter, I tried many, this seems to be the best by far. Work boundaries (\b) work fine in regular expressions. Would love to see this on Thunderbird, too.

Best highlighter so far Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Probably the best (but still simple) highlighter around.Regular expressions seem to work fine even though I've got an issue with word boundary (\b).Would love to see this for Thunderbird, too.
