Thanks very much for this extension. I have over 800 bookmarks, all carefully arranged in folders and subfolders. Sometimes I just want to know where a link is in that heirarchy and Firefox, AFAIK, doesn't allow you to find that information. This extension makes it possible to do this. You simply type a key word into the search field which the extension adds to the bookmarks sidebar, and then right click on the result you want to find. VOILA! The location in your bookmarks list instantly opens. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that it would be nice if there was instead a button you could click on and which would accomplish the same thing as right clicking on a result. That's because I probably will forget the right-click trick by the next time I use this extension. Regardless, it really helped me today, so thanks very much!
Works perfectly. Restored "I feel lucky" to the location field. I'm using XP MCE SP3. Should mention that I have the keyword.URL entry in about:config set to where it's supposed to go. Many thanks! This fixes a feature I really like.
The best extension for dealing with Flash content on a page. However, with FF22, it quit shutting off the Flash elements instantly. Now you have to recycle the page. At least on my system. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).
Just installed it in FF 20.0. Works exactly as advertised. Many thanks to the developer as this takes care of the Google redirect nonsense which has bothered me for some time now. However, as another reviewer mentioned, it does slow down Google Image search very much. I hope the developer can fix this problem. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
I am *extremely* disappointed that this extension no longer works in Firefox. Without it, Firefox is no better than IE or Chrome. Seriously. This extension "made" the browser. FF programmers should incorporate the thing *in its entirety* into FF (allowing that the extension author agrees to this, of course.)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3).
Great extension, but for some time now I, and others, have been noticing that the columns selected for the (for lack of a better term) message listings pane *resets* to the default columns every time I restart TB. I have disabled this extension and notice that the problem stops. I reactivate the extension and the problem resumes. I would have been glad to discuss this in a forum dedicated to this extension, but was unable to find one. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.4).
This extension no longer works at all in Thunderbird at ver. 11.0.1. If this extension is still being maintained, it would be nice if the author would update it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I do NOT allow the addition of toolbars by ANYBODY or ANYTHING! Since the author has chosen to install a toolbar without my permission, I have made MY choice to REMOVE this extension. My advice is to not install this extension on your system. To the author: bad thinking on your part. Over and OUT!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (12.8).
If you use Craigslist, this extension is a must have. And as for the criticism that it's hard or impossible to remove, that didn't hold true for me at all. I removed it a little while ago and then, after verifying that the removal had succeeded, reinstalled it. I had no problems doing the removal and reinstall.
I *would* however, like to know how to easily reset it so that all removed ads show again (until I remove them again) rather than having to do them one at a time. That's my only criticism for this otherwise fine extension.
I'm giving this extension one star simply because of the advertising shown on the menu. When you click on the icon in the lower right corner of Firefox, you see "Free & Fast Online Translator" and the trashy "Scan Your PC For Free". Even though this extension does what it says, the advertising is TOTALLY unacceptable. We don't need this precedent. Avoid this extension in protest. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.56).
The filters don't work with "Google Instant". You have to turn that feature off in Google's "Search Settings" to get the filters to block anything. Other than that, this is a good extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.78.2).
This addon does exactly as advertised and instantly kills all the flash objects on a page. However, there is one option I would like to see and that would be the ability to always hide the flash object replacement image. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).
Good extension. Working nicely now. I was able to add folders and sort my smilies out. Glad this one got updated to work with TB3.
Nice extension and it installed into TB 3.0.4 so it's intended to be compatible, but I added some folders and now I can't switch from folder to folder.
I used to like this extension, but since a recent update it now insists on saving downloaded files, by default, to the following folder:
"C:\Documents and Settings\(my user account)\dwhelper"
There's no way to change this behavior in the settings, so I'm going to remove this extension and look for something else.
Here's an idea! How about if an extension is not compatible with the current version of Firefox, IT STOPS BEING LISTED ON THE ADDONS SITE! >80(>This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.200902).
This extension seems to be broken in FF 3.6. I can no longer make a "Clear Field" button appear in the search bar (Control-F). Also, I can't access the extension's options. Not sure if I was able to do so before though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.2).
Totally perfect. Allows the "other actions" button to be in the same row as the "Reply", "Forward" and "delete" (why didn't the developers capitalize the word "delete"?) buttons as it should have been from the start. Expands the list of "other actions" available by adding all kinds of great things you can do, for instance: allows an extremely compact header view by selecting "Hide details". This is the way that the developers of TB3 should have done it! If not "the", then definitely "one of the" most important extensions for TB3. Many thanks to jmozmoz! I hope the developers sit up and take notice. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.4).
I can't get it to install in Thunderbird 3.0 rv:184.108.40.206. It installs in Firefox's current version though.
