If you have high resolution screens with plenty of horizontal space... and who doesn't, there is literally nothing as useful as this add-on; in Firefox or any browser. THIS is how vertical tabs are meant to be. It keeps me using Firefox instead of Chrome, Opera, or IE. Thanks Piro!
Get an updated, December 1, 2014, version with nesting tabs fixed on the "Versions" section of the addon.
I just spent an hour trying to figure out why clicking on my tabs didn't instantly switch to the selected tab. Finally, after disabling FindBar Tweak things went back to normal. This is definitely a 5 star extension functionality/feature wise. But, the hit to performance just isn't worth it.
Dev contacted me directly and has worked successfully to improve the performance of Findbar Tweak. Tab switching with or without the FT is equally quick now.
Love this addon. Thanks for putting it together! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
Oops, this is the wrong addin, sorry.
Since you responded I'll just go rate the other one five stars without writing anything.
I love this. Thanks! My only addition would be a setting to control the hover time. I use Tree Style Tab and sometimes I'm just mousing from the top to bottom and if one of the tabs has a long history your addin will cover the lower tabs with it's menu. It would be great if I could set it so it stopped a half second before showing the menu.
There's no better vertical tabs interface on any browser out there. After using Chrome for the last 10 months I realize how much I missed this addon. There are some tree style tab pretenders in the Chrome world but they're hacky.
Tree Style Tabs = The Greatest
Have used this for 5 years. Firefox would not be the same without it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.18).
Feedly makes Google Reader everything it can be and more. My only fear is that Google decides to scoop these guys up and buries the product. :-(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.0). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
The Diigo Toolbar has been a staple of my firefox install for at least four years. The items that show up in the toolbar are completely customizable. If you don't like something, go to the settings and remove it.
Thanks for the amazing service and software Diigo.
I love this add-on. An update for the new google search results page would be awesome!
Awesome Addon until FF 3.6. Now it doesn't work at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.36).
Very useful. Thanks!
All, find the most recent version (1.0.2 as of this writing) at http://bookmarkdd.mozdev.org
By far the best way to visually identify tabs. Thanks for the 2.3 beta.
Love it now and it's always getting better. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0a).
Love it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199).
Massively helpful for identifying open tabs. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
I only use this add-on for it's Find bar enhancements. It combines 'Find Toolbar Tweaks' and 'Find All' with even better formatting of the found results. I only wish it provided a find count like 'Find In Numbers'. The language enhancements are most likely as useful for those who need them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.11.8).
"NOTE: Won't be updated to work on Firefox 3, due to changes in how tabs are rendered."
If ColorfulTabs can do it, I would think it's certainly possible to get ChromaTabs working.
This is the first Add-on I install when putting firefox on a new machine. If the technical hurdle is true, this add-on will certainly be missed.
