140207 = Sorry Mister.....
I am a dummy as I didn't know the meaning of 'Fennec'!?! But now I do..... Thx. Para
I have tried everything I could think of, to get this app to work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet!?! It saya 'No Restart', but I did so, just to see if that made any different - No way!?! So I uninstalled it!?! 2Bad, So Sad.....
This is a great time saver & everyone should have it on their toolbar for easy access to it. After being on sites that you need to fill in some information, it's just 1 simple click & everything is cleared from your browser. No worries about anyone retrieving any of your past history, etc.
But it would be nice to have the same easy access to clearing all out of Thunderbirds cache, etc. **Is there any chance the developers could do this???
1st off, I have No affiliation with Dr.Web Company.....
The LinkChecker is a valuable tool for the user to quickly check any links B4 opening it in the same or another tab!?! It's also a good way to check any item you want to download for any bad stuff (including add-ons from other developers), that may try to sneak onto your PC with said down loadable item!?!
DrWeb LinkChecker has been around for awhile & has proved itself 100 fold!?! They have made many changes to it over the years, like improved scanning speed (depending on your computers technical capabilities), keeping its database updated on a daily (hourly) basis, Improving their servers heavy demand for its use by the millions of users that constantly are scanning links etc. 24/7, plus much more!?!
**Unfortunately, like many other security products out there, it's not immune to developing the odd glitch like us users are experiencing with the recent updates to versions 2.5.8 & 2.5.9..... LinkChecker isn't working with my Firefox browser but does work very well with my Thunderbird email program (same update version & date)!?!
I have notified DrWeb developers via their LinkCheckers homepage online contact forms plus by email, as they don't seem to monitor this FF Add-ons page!?! I have found in the past that this is the best way of bringing a situation like this to their attention very quickly!?!
They will get it fixed & we all can continue to keep our PC safe by using DrWeb's LinkChecker, to warn us of those deceitful, unreliable, mischievous, scoundrels, rascals & scallywags who want to make our internet surfing miserable!?!
This is 1 very valuable security add-on that I highly recommend every one to acquire for your surfing pleasure..... It works well with most browsers & some email programs - just check it out at their home website!?!
It appears that this could be a good alternative to the other add-on called 'Update Notifier'..... But the latter cooperates with FF Updater as they both get the same updates at the same time. The UN has a small button icon you can put on any toolbars you have as well it can be shown in the status tray. Check it out..... p5This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.12).
Why Milly, Why are you demanding payment for an add-on B4 we can try it out? I agree that developing these add-ons take time but this is the kind of practice that's starting to give Mozilla FF & TB, a bad name! You're now part of the problem that's making Mozilla's Firefox/Thunderbird lose its popularity for being a FREE application that had VG Free add-ons to let the users enjoy them more... And I know that I speak for thousands - just start reading what is being said about greedy add-on developers, in any of the hundreds of forums out there! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0).
This was a Fantastic Tab-bar space saver but sadly it's not being updated anymore... Is there anyone out there that can make a Tiny Menu 'Easy Alternative' for Thunderbird 3.6.xx? Not too complex for some of us older dummies that know nothing about developing add-ons! (No offense intended) Thanks to Ludicrum for the suggested alternatives for FF but I couldn't tell if any would work w/TB.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
This has got to be 1 of the greatest toolbar space saving add-ons & thanks for developing it. BUT, why have you stopped updating it for Thunderbird? Since Mozilla has put out TB 3.1.xx, TM is not compatible any more.
Please, please, continue updating TM for TB users that have upgraded to the latest version!!!
HEY Mozilla...Why not make this Tiny Menu standard in both FF & TB???
Still has compatibility issues with many other add-ons. Developer could fix it but seems to be too lazy. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
It has compatibility issues with many other add-ons! Only works when it wants to! So pretty Useless tool to have wasting so much space in the toolbar. Plus, developer's a snob! Thinks his $h1t don't Stink but U can smell it all the way here.........This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9).
Tuesday, May 11, 2010 == OOPS! Did I jump the gun here? I didn't stop to read the reviews & so now am I going have a useless add-on, too?? I'm using TB 3.0.4 & haven't installed it yet, so we shall see...
I'll be very disappointed if No Worky, Turkey!!!
Tuesday, May 11, 2010 = Right on Man! Been looking for something like this for a long time & didn't know you had it for TB. Thx Man.
Why did you take away the color choices & go with Dark or Ice? It was much cooler to use with many choices of color for the top/bottom & white back ground. Now it's too dark. I loved this extension & would have rated a 5 But now only a 2. Sorry...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).
This is a great feature to have when viewing new (safe) websites, to actually see where it's from & where the server is located. Unfortunately for me, I had to disable it due to conflicts, mostly with Gmail as it would slow everything down. My mouse scrolling became very erratic on most webpages (scrolling up or down, the mouse wheel seem to stall then jump to somewhere on the page). I use AutoPager (add-on) for long google searches, forum posts, etc. & the 2 of them did not get along very well. Having to choose 1 or the other, I chose AutoPager. Having said that, I will try Flagfox from time to time, to see if there is any improvement. Flagfox is so simple to use, just install it & forget it as it does it thing quite well. I highly recommend it for anyone. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.20).
As I had previously stated on: December 22, 2008
This WAS... a good Add-on but once again it has fallen behind. And now FF is up to v3.5.7 & your add-on still is far behind in being updated.
I'm sorry to be so critical but if developers aren't able to keep their add-ons up-to-date with FF, then they should pull the add-on from FF Extension files, until they have the time to Update it. Don't let a good thing go to waste! Many of us will still be waiting but time is of the essence...
This 'WAS' a VG extension But you have to keep it Updated to keep working with FF!
So When are you going to update it to work with the latest FF versions???
Why donate to your cause if you can't keep your FF Extension Updated...
1st, I want to Thank 'crimghost', for FIXING this add-on! Not many people will go to that extent to do this for a very excellent FF extension. This is a 'Must Have' or better yet, a Required extension for all to use when a secure PW is needed for any site that the user will be accessing at anytime. It is very easy to use, gives you many choices for what type of password you need & it even has a Icon to put any where on your toolbar, for quick, easy access. I strongly recommend for all to add this extension to their Firefox browser ASAP. Thanks again crimghost for the fix!

Your new v2.0 just SUCKS! What happen to the option of having a picture instead of text? And if I missed the instructions, then tell me where they are?

Since I found this fantastic add-on [just by chance] & installed it, I have learned quite a bit more about the 'extras' that load with any webpage. Using another fantastic add-on 'No Scripts', I'm able to Disable those 'extras' knowing that it won't affect how the webpage operates. I Highly Recommend this add-on to everyone. It's another VG security application to help your surfing the net with ease.
Strike 3 -- You're OUT!!! I have to agree with the last 2 reviewers/users, tried it But to no avail... It looks like a very good add-on, if it would only work! So Mr. GS! Networks - could you put more instructions up on this site, as to make this item work? Or Fix what the heck is wrong with it. I'm not a developer so I can't do much about it, but uninstall it & carry on to some other add-on -- that WORKS!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6).
