ClearURLs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Kevin, I have run into another issue with ClearURLs. It seems to block the map on the left side of the property search result on zillow.com. This occurs when looking at a saved map search or a new map search. Could you please check this?

Maybe you could consider a way to allow the user to whitelist certain sites when issues like this crop up.

ClearURLs

I am having some trouble with this addon. When used with the Disconnect addon or Firefox's built-in Tracking Protection and the Cookie AutoDelete addon, the Show Comments button at the end of each article on politico.com becomes non-functional. Are there conflicts among these items?

EDIT: Thanks for the fix, Kevin. Changing rating to 5 stars. Not sure I understand your recommendation to switch from Disconnect to Disconnect.

Analog Clock

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a wonderful small clock! Great job with adding the ability to customize the display colors and the tooltip text!!

Is there any chance the clock could be made larger? It would be easier to see.

Close Other Tabs Btn

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great addon! A suggestion to make button function clearer- change the text of the tooltip for the button from "Close Others" to "Close Other Tabs". Another suggestion - allow the user to choose whether the button closes Pinned Tabs.

Analog Clock

Nice clock. Would it be possible to have the tooltip read "4:35pm, Thursday, December 28,2017" instead of "2017-12-28 16:35" ?

Date Today for Firefox

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Hello. I think clock would be more visible with thicker hands and tick marks along the edge of the circle to represent at least the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions. Like the Analog Clock addon has done. Thanks.

Default Bookmark Folder

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good addon. One issue though. The Quick Bookmark icon (red/grey) in the URL box is not round on my screen in FF57. It is elongated horizontally with my display resolution at 3840x2160.

Can the icon be fixed to be always round?

Tab Rotator

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hello. Would it be possible for you to add the ability to switch the tab in focus immediately by mousing over another tab, rather than on a timed basis? I loved the old Tab Focus addon, but it is no longer available. Thanks.

Close Other Tabs By Double-Click

Great addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please update for FF 57+ if possible.

Weather Extension

Nice addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tim, just found this addon and I like it! Would you consider adding the ability to change the font size/color/boldness (and maybe the background color) on the 2 digit temperature reading shown on the main toolbar button? And maybe adding a degree symbol after the 2 digits? Also, could the map display retain the selected category, rather than revert to temperature, the next time it is opened. I use the map only to look at rain radar. If not, maybe rain radar can be the default map, or let the user set the default map type. Thanks.

OverlayScrollbars

I like it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nice clean look. Works well on FF50.

I don't know whether the developer would consider adding some customization options, like color, transparency level, width, etc. But it is fine as is.

Cookie Sweep

Very pleased to have found this addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been looking for a long time for a way to delete cookies except for certain cookies that I do not want deleted. This seems to do the trick. Once the domain is placed in the whitelist, the cookie for that site is preserved after clicking the Cookie Sweep button to delete all other cookies.

I am currently using Cookie Sweep along with the FF privacy setting that retains cookies until they expire.

I would ask the developer if it is possible to add an option to trigger the Cookie Sweep sweeping (except for whitelisted domains) automatically on closing FF rather than having to do it manually by pressing the Cookie Sweep button?

EDIT: I just changed the FF setting to delete cookies when FF closes. The next time I open FF, I see that the cookies in the Cookie Sweep whitelist are still there. So this accomplishes the job of deleting unwanted cookies automatically on browser closing while preserving desired cookies. Changing rating to 5 stars!!

ReminderFox

Notification sound can't be disabled Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like this addon and have used it for years. But with FF49, it started playing a Windows notification-type sound everytime FF opens. I think the popup slider is what triggers the notification sound. So I disabled the setting to play a sound with Reminderfox notifications. It works for a while, but hours or days later, the sound setting is re-checked by itself and the sound reappears every time Firefox is opened. Very annoying, as I prefer a quieter PC. Please fix.

ReminderFox

A fix should be coming, per author Rated 4 out of 5 stars

ReminderFox is causing 2 issues with Firefox 45. One is that tabs cannot be moved with click and drag. The other is that Firefox itself does not completely close on exit. Its' process continues to run in Windows Task Manager. Until a fix is released, the author has asked users to disable the Foxy Alerts Slider in the ReminderFox settings. This resolves both issues.

Addons update problem with Stylish 2.0.5 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Stylish 2.0.5 causes manual updating of addons to break. I am referring to the gear icon in the Addons Manager and then clicking Update Addons. I have verified that the problem is with Stylish 2.0.5 itself and not any of my user styles.

Open With

Now works with MS Edge! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't know why I couldn't get this to work before, but it now does work to open the current page in MS Edge.

It uses this to launch MS Edge:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe "miocrosoft-edge:%s"

MS Edge support? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I can't get this addon to open MS Edge? Is there a solution to this issue?

The method mentioned in a previous review does not work.

Chrome View

Edge View? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Any chance the author could make a similar addon to open the current page in the Edge browser?

Extra Folder Columns

Now built in to TB 38+ Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I loved this addon and have used it for years, but if I'm not mistaken it's function has been incorporated into TB itself in TB 38+. To activate columns, just open the little square icon with an arrow at the top right of the Folder Pane. No more 4KB issue either. I don't think there is a reason to keep this addon installed.

Quick Context 2

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OK, once I select the Enable on Click option in this addon's settings, it works! It opens the context menu immediately on selecting text.

I don't know why the user has to select a Click option to enable the addon to work. The context menu opens when the text is selected. There is no further clicking needed.

I like this addon, but it is confusing to have to actively select a click option to get it to work. Can't this be enabled by default?
