Great fix by Bas! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Re: BookMarkToolbar fix for FF4.0b8
Inside your Firefox profile, navigate to extensions\{7bf7c1c3-d8e7-4020-ab38-a829c76693d5}\chrome\placesfulltitles\skin and open placesfulltitles.css in a text editor. Do a find-and-replace: replace all instances of
bookmarksBarContent
with
PlacesToolbar
and then close the file and restart Firefox.

Very very helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must-have for me.
Thanks, Bas, for sharing your fix. I'd love to see it included. Rating 5 stars in the hopes it'll happen :)

Simple but effective!

If you want to use this in Firefox 4, it will work for the bookmarks menu but not for the bookmarks toolbar (which is where I keep my RSS feeds). You will need to adjust the code manually - but it's not difficult.

Good! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Maybe some people like the shorter titles but for those of us who want to see the full titles it works well! Good job!

Breaks theming in Ubuntu Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Version 3 breaks Noia theme in Ubuntu, menus become way too dark, icons and bookmark titles go missing, awesome bar search results are broken.

Removing extension leaves them broken, even reinstalling mozilla won't help unless you clear out whole profile which you don't wanna do.

Do not install!

Finally!! I have found the extension that expands saved news articles if full i.e.: From "Man eat's ex-wife..." to "Man eats ex-wife's potatoes and dies". Although it would be great to have the add-ons's "option" menu activated so you could adjust the Top Bookmark Folders size different from the Sub-bookmarks size...but hey...still A+

Great Extension. I just wish it was wider. Some website titles are just too long to fit.

Should be built into Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tired of reading truncated titles, Google brought me to this highly useful extension. I no longer have to ready "..." in my RSS feeds. Awesome!

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED -- AND OOPS Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't see the review I posted a short time ago (first ever). Not sure if it failed or they just take awhile to get posted. If it DIDN'T fail, just wanted to add: Sorry for stupidly missing that fact that you already have screenshots. In case the first review DID fail, I'll just give a one-word re-review: BRILLIANT! Thank you!!!

EXACTLY what I needed!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

THANK YOU so much! The key benefit for me: I cram lots of info (site-use reminders, logon hints, etc) into descriptions of bookmarks that I know will be shunted to the right-hand drop-down portion of the toolbar. But it wasn't quite wide enough in Firefox, so the description truncation had me (shudder!) toying with the idea of going back to IE. The expanded space for history is a nice bonus, too! My only suggestion might be to change the add-in's descriptions and/or title a bit to help folks better understand exactly what it's going to provide. A couple screenshots might be useful.

Extremely useful if you're using living bookmarks for subscribing some RSS channels…

Should be a built-in, but needs options Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a must-have. I hope someone will add preferences to set widths. It would be better if Toolbar bookmarks were kept small. 4 stars until then.

Even better than version 2.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just added the code to userChrome.css with a note as to its origin. Works fine (Fx 3 on Win XP). Great for those long RSS Live Bookmark titles. Especially for those of us who prefer the Bookmarks Menu to the Sidebar.

duh? length by choice?

Too many options results in bad user interface

But if you can figure out how to write that, you have my authorisation to rock on. I'm not made of code-fu.

If you like, you can open up the extension and change the values in the CSS to suit you better.

Toolbar Buttons Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Greetings,
I use this add-on since you published it and I am really pleased with it. Recently I saw that is not working for add-on "Toolbar Buttons" - buttons: and . I am not sure if you can do it anything to fix it, but at list you know about :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).

That's because I don't use that extension,

but if you can find out what CSS will select the relevant menus (or if I'm really bored at some point in the future), I'll add it in.

Obviously, it's near-impossible to integrate with every other extension out there.

THANK YOU!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I added the code to my userChrome.css (to avoid yet another extension to scroll through on my list). What a relief to have found the answer to what I was looking for!!
