I freakin love it, up until I just now discovered this, I would manually/tediously copy links via the developer console and then scrub links to find what I have blocked in 'hosts' file that's making a site malfunction (videos not start etc) Of course such a useful extension would come from the greatness that brought us Bleachbit, one of my single favorite softwares of all time along with Firefox itself and AdBlock Plus :)

Thanks

Great App - An excellent tool for use with special downloaders (e.g., manga downloaders that can process URLs for certain websites, but are not directly integrated with the site) that can use a URL list. Extract links by filter is invaluable for grabbing specific sets of links.

wrong link Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Hi,

I just downloaded the add-on.
I was wondering why it didn't work when I discovered that the link is pointing to the version 1.3.2.

Please, may you correct ?

Thanks in advance and best regards

The review system is not a good place to ask for support. On the Mozilla Addons page you can click on Support site (right hand site) to get to the Link Gopher Site. When I am on the Mozilla Addons page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/link-gopher/), it shows me Link Gopher 1.3.3

This is/was an awesome little tool that i've used for a couple years now.

Now that FF has screwed up the status bar, how can we extract links??

Any estimated time for an update?

Good job Mozilla you've screwed up once AGAIN!

Fantastic addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic addon. I use it all the time whenever my projects require information on link structures on any domain. Information collected with single mouse click - simple and effective!

Great tool, especially useful due to the filtering. Has fast become an almost vital tool for me. Only two things missing that would make this perfect:
1) Remove it from the add-on bar or at least make it possible to drag it away from there to any other toolbar. It's placement in the add-on bar is rather annoying, considering I don't like using that bar and have no other add-ons there.

2) The ability for the tool to extract links in text form on the page as well.

Outstanding filtering, auto-sorting, removing duplicates, easiness to use, speed and working with other plugins like re-pagination. I don't even care I can hardly see the options of the menu. This add-on is almost what I needed. The "almost" comes from auto-sorting and removing duplicates standing in my way (easy to remove though) since I need to extract the links in the exact order they appear and with all the duplicates. The links accompanied by their title (anchor) would be a great feature if added. -- Actually I need to extract things like this one: <a name="m_1580501"></a>368.&nbsp;<a href="javascript:ShowUserDataPage(26176911);">SoulOfLife</a> where points of interest are: 1580501, 368, 26176911, SoulOfLife. When (if ever) I'll know JavaScript, I'll do it myself, but until then I rely on smarter people.

A great addon. I am quite satisfied with it. But, here are a few suggestions to make it even better:

1. Replace the text button with an icon that takes much less space.
2. On rightclick over the status bar button, the context menu should appear over an opaque(maybe white) background.
3. Provide an option to place the button on any toolbar and not just the status bar.

I am raising donations to make enhancements and these first two items are already on the priority list. #2 is a regression: it worked fine since Firefox 3 but suddenly broke in FF 18.

I love it when something actually works. This saved me from having to open an Elance project..... So easy. Filtering is also VERY nice. You get only the links you want. Thanks!

Can only work on single tab one by one! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I think you can improve it to keep users can get filtered links on all opened tabs! Otherwise little usage it is.

Bug with links in [code] on vBulletin boards? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

i think there's a new bug because it worked some months ago but not for several weeks anymore

if you have a vbulletin board and links are placed in the [code] tags they won't be shown anymore with link gopher. even using the filter doesn't work anymore.

i hope you can fix that. otherwise this tool is getting quite useless for me :-/

One small request; PLEASE?? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It would be so PERFECT if one could highlight a section of a web page and extract only the links in the highlighted portion. I use it specifically on a Board for extracting SPAM links from Posts. The way it works now, I have to manually delete all the Board's software links (internal workings) to wind up with just the SPAM links. IF I could highlight the specific text that has the links in it I want, it'd save me loads of time. Please consider this if you decide to update the current version.
Thank you for listening,
Shy
Either way your product is a great asset. :) I rate it 5 stars; if it'd work on just highlighted text, I'd draw in a few extra stars.

Needs a link title option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This works wonderfully and quickly, but it uses the extracted URL as the anchor (link title). It needs to have the option of also extracting the original link title, and then displaying that instead of the raw URL in the resulting links list.
