This works on Tbird 3.0pre. You could boost the max compatibility to that version, at least.

This is actually compatible with Tbird 3.0pre. You could boost the max compatibility up to that point, at least.

Horizontal scroll? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This addon is good as far as it goes. But I still can't scroll to the right. This still leaves headers truncated to the right. It does surprise me that Thunderbird would even need an addon just to be able to see the full headers. You'd think Microsoft had written the program.

Glad to have found this! Exactly what I needed when i reached for it.

gut Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good solution for finally view the whole header. thanks for this.

1st problem:
Not compatible with Enigmail, when i run enigmail, there is still no scrollbar, i have to disable enigmail and restart thunderbird. but then it works.

2nd problem (small one):
when i open a header and i scroll in the middle of the header, and then klick on another message, when this new message is opened the scrollposition is still in the middle (in the same position as bevor) and not at the beginning.

at all its great work.

I think it's a great feature that finally takes care of that bug. In order to block spam I often checl for unique information in the headers and always have to maximize the size of TB to see all the headers.

Just a suggestion: Any way to set it so the header window can be resized? I'd only like it to take up 5-7 lines instead of the current 11.

great, but small glitches Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works really well apart from two things:

1) Sometimes I need to toggle View Header from All to Normal and back for it to start working (2.0.0.7)

2) It's not immediately clear that you need to select text in order to scroll long lines to the right - could these be word-wrapped instead?

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension is necessary to see the message body if a message has large To or Cc lists. This is also invaluable for View Headers All is selected and a message has been through enough relays (Received lines) that the message body is obscured.

If fixed... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It only works when Headers is set on "normal" at the thunderbird startup, when it's on "all" no scroll is available.

That doesn't save you any clicks. So you might as well forget it.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Makes Thunderbird more usable for power users.

Scrolling headers (in Thunderbird on Windows, default theme) causes an ugly line to appear between each "scroll step", which only goes away after a redraw of the window (for example minimising maximising the Thunderbird window).

can't remove extension! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

unable to remove this extension. disable it. restart tbird. still there. uninstall it. restart tbird. still there. disable all extensions, restart, still there.

help??

Is generally a good Add-on, but is not compatibel with the "view header toggle button" Add-on. Rgds.

Nice & simple - now I can see more detail about the email I'm viewing without seeing ALL the detail. Good Stuff.

great! but more needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great but unless I have something wrong I also need a horizontal scroll bar. The "received:" info scrolls way past the right edge of the screen.

smart add-on! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi i really needed this add-on! thanks! if i could set the number of lines shown to 4 lines, or resize the pane, it would be even perfect, and i would have my old short headers, and the ability to see the rest by mouse-wheeling down!

problem with 3.2, TB 2.0, on LINUX Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I'm giving a "5" rating because 3.1 works and is necessary for me to have.

But the new version shows the header from the previously-viewed Email, unless I actually click my mouse within the (wrong) header. That is necessary to have the header area content match the CURRENT message.

I'll guess that some "mouse listener" on the message list, or some "message panel repaint" in the message display code, is missing a stmt. to repaint the header area with the new header.

But I really know nothing about XUL, nothing at all.

Thank you for keeping the old 3.1 version handy, I'm gonna fall back (and use Nightly Tester Tools to make TB 2.0 accept it-- this one works OK.)

You did something OTHER than just change the 'max version', right ????

Works perfect for me... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Not sure what Gibarian is seeing, but my attachments display fine.

I rated this simple extension a 10 because the issue that it fixes is so basic, that I am very surprised that the devs have left it unfixed for so long.

Anyway, thx Christian for providing the fix - and for the quick TB 2.0 update!!

Problems with the attachments display Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Very interesting add-on... If not for the fact that the attachments box vanishes from all sight, once is installed and the headers displayed... In the case of the pictures, the attachments can be retrieved directly from the mail body, if the "display attachments inline" is on, but with documents and zip files there is no way around this... What a disappointment...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).
