Excellent, but with a minor annoyance Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The annoyance: If I set number of forecast days to 0, there is no way to get tonight's temperature. I can still get tomorrow-tomorrownight etc until 5 days hence by hovering on the "5" button, but not tonight's temperature!
Basically from the UI POV, "tonight" is inconsistent. Either tonight is a "forecast" (in which case hover on "5" button should show it), else it isnt (hover on current conditions should show it). Right now it's in no man's land.
edit: Reply to dev's comment: I dont think you understand. This is not an accuweather issue, this is a UI issue. I can get the night temperature *in the toolbar* if I set number of forecast days to 1, so accuweather *does* have the info. Forecastfox is just not showing it to me if number of forecast days is 0. This is inconsistent because it *does* show me 5 days hence temperature but not tonight's temperature.

Like a bike with bells and whistles but no wheels, did not actually work. This is on Redhat Linux.
Set up a backup on shutdown, nothing happened.
Clicked on Perform backup now, did something then froze my browser which had to be killed.
It was uninstalled.

Great addon. UI could do some work but it's accepable. One thing I couldnt figure out - how to know the time when the site will be unblocked if it's currently blocked? This would be very useful as I wont then keep checking whether it's come back. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.7.1.1-signed).
Gone downhill Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Great little addon, but once in a whle problems arise. Over the last few years:
- Happened multiple times: sometimes doesnt get resolved for a week or so: shows no weather at all, and NaNs in the fields.
- Sometimes shows weather of fewer days ago in icon, or sometimes correct weather in icon but fewer days ago weather after clicking.
- The Alerts field is completely useless. It blinks once in a while even though you've read it and the link after clicking the icon is a 404.
- Opens infinite tabs.
- Access denied on clicking.
Superb extension - a lot of thought has gone into this Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love the various options and the fact that so far everything I've tried has worked. The only thing I miss is the ability to add a little extra space atop the titlebar (when you fill it up with urlbar etc, there's not space to click and move the entire window). I did this with userChrome pretty easily but an option in the extension itself would be nice. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
Seeking causes videos to pause, otherwise a great addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It works, but seeking causes videos to pause even if autoplay is on. Tried various settings but this seems like a bug that needs to be fixed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed).
Pointless over Readable Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I dont use Evernote (and I have no intention of signing in for an account) so the "save" has no benefit for me and I use the much better Pocket (which has rss) for "read it later". Other than that, it does the same job as the old Readable bookmarklet, which is 1KB of text as opposed to this 1.5MB behemoth. It hasnt even fixed the bug of ctrl-F working incorrectly (it searches the original page first then the changed page), forget columnar layout etc, which I was assuming would be done by such a major company. Unfortunately, this is just a "put your name on things" acquisition for Evernote. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.3369.854.431.1-signed).
More like Print Delete: the "Edit" parts are very basic Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It does the Delete parts very well, no complaints there. However editing is restricted to margins only. Forget moving divs, there's not even a way to get text to fit width, similar to the Readability or Readable bookmarklets. Also if you are viewing No Page Style, you can print that with Firefox, but you go on to Print Edit and it's back to the original page style. Basically, it does the easy things and it does them well. But a true editor for print would do more. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.3.1-signed).
Off by default does not work Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I have Switch signature off by default, yet it shows up when I compose or hit Reply. So I cant use this extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.11).
Amazon, New Hotmail, a lot of Google! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
As others have mentioned here, freezes Amazon. Now editing review to add that it freezes the new Outlook Hotmail as well, and also many of Google's sites. I have switched to whitelist (only AutoLinkify ...), but that's a pain. This absolutely needs to be fixed.
Good add-on but for one bug Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Enigmail breaks the flowed format for *all* emails you send out, whether or not you encrypt or sign them. For me about 1% of my emails need to use PGP, so I cannot have the other 99% be wrapped weirdly. This bug is known but developers refuse to fix it, which makes this add-on a subtract-off in my book. A pity, because it really works well otherwise. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).
Meta - lost my review :-( Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I just typed a review using my editor and it got totally lost - there was a blank review until I edited and typed all this.
So one star off.
edit: Hmm very strange, the reply by Christian shows my earlier review, which didnt get onto the mozilla site! Anyway, thanks christian for your reply. I'll check out the wiki, and add a bug ticket if this happens again in a reproducible manner. I put back the star.
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Great add on but a few things as others have pointed out:
- *Absolutely* need to be able to open chm files with firefox. Right now if you try to do so, firefox doesnt recognize the extension and tries to save the file.
- Ctrl-E shortcut doesnt work because it goes to the search bar. The choice of Ctrl-E was bad to begin with - should have been something less likely to be repeated.
- The idea of using the sidebar for the menu is IMO retarded because it's a global vs per-tab thing. It should be done with frames. Frames were *meant* for this.
Latest version 0.3.3.0 sucks Rated 2 out of 5 stars
New version sucks. In addition to what klubs has mentioned, the common commands on top option doesnt work. Dont you test this thing? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.4.0).
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Nice idea but very poor execution. Why is there no way to keep the severe weather icon but turn off the alerts popping up? Why do I have to choose between day/hightemp and night/lowtemp for the forecast? What if the low temp occurs during the day? Why didnt they make just one panel for the high/low temp? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.7).
Messed up my browser Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The least annoying thing it did was remove the icons of several menu items. It also screwed up my DownThemAll extension which needed a reinstall; got rid of the context menu; and generally messed up the menus. I uninstalled it and most of the stuff has come back, but am still missing the icons. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.6).
Useful, badly done Rated 3 out of 5 stars
While undoubtedly *necessary*, this is not done with zero UI design knowledge: (a) Needs more presets - 3 is ridiculous (b) Needs better user look and feel: eg. browser focus is lost when its menu is opened, input fields provide no guidance so serve no advantage over having the one useful line etc.
It also lacks a per-site setting.
Back port please! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Back port to 1.5 please, this looks very useful but I cant use it as I'm stuck on 1.5.
