Most of the problems are from using ADBLOCK with the "Not Saving Popups" (which tell me little and require me to click for almost no reason -- Here is a hint FIREFOX makers, ONE POPUP + scroll list of errors, not 20 or 30 popups one after another -- make it a LIST with a single close button).
If the only option is to repeatedly click "CLOSE" then there is no option, only lousy programming resulting in a bad interface.
FIREFOX & MHT don't respect ADBLOCK when saving a webpage. They try to save the complete webpage (which is often filled with unwanted ads or other time-wasting junk) and not the ADBLOCK-FILTERED webpage. When I save a webpage I *WANT* the ADBLOCK-FILTERED webpage saved. Simple as that.
Mozilla Archive Format would catch on faster if FIREFOX stopped the tard-popup error gang-bang and presented only one popup with a scroll list and if Mozilla Archive Format saved the ADBLOCK-FILTERED webpage we wouldn't have any "MISSING ITEM" errors while saving a webpage *AT ALL*.
Great program, works as promised. However, the current version 2.7.0 has a problem.
DEFECTIVE STARTUP -- ALWAYS OPENS BELOW URL WHEN ENABLED
VERY ANNOYING. Will be disabling until this defect is corrected.
My initial rating for this add-on was 5 stars as it appeared to be the perfect companion to the BAR-TAB add-on (you'll hate yourself for not installing BAR-TAB). The problem, this add-on HAS A BIG STINKING MEMORY LEAK WHICH CONTINUES TO GOBBLE MEMORY CONSTANTLY (I figure that this extension loads the tabs at first load, then reloads them, and NEVER STOPS RELOADING). How do I know this, I am an "extreme Firefox user" using only 26 tabs at the moment and while "LOAD TABS PROGRESSIVELY" was active I was losing 20 MB of memory per second (averaging at 580 MB at the moment with 780 MB in virtual memory). Without "LOAD TABS PROGRESSIVELY" in play I am having memory cleared at a rate of 5 MB per second (which is still horrible given that only 3 tabs are non-greyed using BAR-TAB). With BAR-TAB and 589 tabs open (not kidding you, I tend to get distracted and bored quicky on interesting websites) I would have a session of about 30 minutes before the memory-choke-lag would force me to restart Firefox. Uninstalling "LOAD TABS PROGRESSIVELY" has helped considerably.
Works great. All of my tabs open without a fuss. Loads only the tabs I am currently viewing so Firefox loads super-quick without choking on startup. Only complaint would be needing toggle options to allow media in an non-viewed tab to continue playing without unloading tab after the tab unloading timeout clocks out. Beyond that, I very much like this program. Makes FIREFOX work smoothly and speedy.
Tried it. Doesn't work as claimed. Clicked "Restart Firefox" and it did restart (as usual by closing all active windows/tabs and then reloading them when Firefox reloaded). Using Firefox 3.6.13.
No "Restart Again" button/menu-item/statusbar icon to indicate if there was any difference between the old "Restart Firefox" menu command and the new "Restart Again" command. This extension *might* actually work, but simply fails to replace the older "Restart Firefox" command.
Extension claim is to restart Firefox without closing tabs/windows and since it does not do this, I would say that this extension is non-functional so don't even bother downloading.
Works great for posting in default HTML forum codes (if enabled outside of FARK) up to version 3.0.7
Version 3.0.7 is non-functional and broken (clicking the OPTIONS for the extension in the ADD-ONs window results in the ADD-ONs window locking up). I am rolling it back immediately to a previous version and locking out updates until version 3.0.7 is removed.
I like the theme for the bars and the buttons, but the webpage Glowy background image should be removed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.5.3).
Great extension, but not compatible with Firefox 3.5 (with the internalization of the FLASH VIDEO VIEWING engine). If your browser crashes after updating to Firefox 3.5, you'll need to remove this extension until it is made compatible again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.37).
Not bad. Downsides, v0.5.8 does not allow choice of download directory and also does not allow auto file rename after download. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.8).
Has been a great FLV file downloader, but after the last update YOUTUBE video now saves as zero-length files. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4).
Used MR TECH to enable this in FIREFOX 3.03 and it does not allow me to save images at all. I like the concept though and would like to see this idea followed through into a workable Firefox extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.5).
