Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using this for years to launch about:config, about:addons-memory, eCleaner (when using Preferences Monitor), etc. It's always worked flawlessly and without issue.
I noticed the genius below me rated it two stars for some inexplicable reason while simultaneously praising the addon. I figured this would be a good time to say thanks and show my support. Hopefully we can get the rating back up to 5 stars where it belongs.

ShimStorage works flawlessly and is the only addon of its kind to provide this functionality. "dom.storage.enabled" has long been a thorn in my side as it is one of the few critical security preferences that I couldn't disable for fear of breaking too many sites. This problem is now a thing of the past.
It never ceases to amaze me how many excellent and critical addons such as this receive so little fanfare and attention. It's a shame. This addon does exactly what it claims to do.
As others have said, an improved UI would be nice. I don't think it needs a menu button, but a nicer, column-based UI for the whitelist would be nice with import / export capability. An alert bar when a site is broken due to "dom.storage.enabled" being set to "false" would be nice but I don't believe it's critical for more advanced users. This could also be a nightmare to implement from a programming perspective, I'm not sure. A context menu entry to add the active website to the whitelist would be my primary request that would be relatively easy to implement, should the developer care what I think.
The functionality of this addon can be tested by going to http://dev-test.nemikor.com/web-storage/support-test/. With the addon enabled, the test should say "localStorage: not supported." With "*.nemikor.com" added to the whitelist, the test should run without incident.
Just what I needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This addon is exactly what I've been looking for. I do a lot of Firefox UI customization with I proprietary extension I've made, which requires taking frequent screenshots of Firefox chrome. Since all other screenshot addons are restricted to the browser panel, I've been forced to do a win key + print screen, launch Photoshop, create new document, crop, and save. This addon has greatly simplified things for me.
It's a damn shame that this addon doesn't get more attention. I've been looking for something like this for ages, but could never find it when searching. I discovered it through your Profilist addon, which I also find invaluable. I also use XPI Compiler, and Chrome Store Foxified also looks like a promising addon. It's too bad none of these addons get more exposure; they're phenomenal. Keep up the good work and thanks for your contributions.
Indispensable Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm a longtime user of this addon. It's one of the first things I install on a fresh installation. The ability to quickly access addon options and enable / disable on the fly is indispensable.
I also love the ability to see version numbers on the drop-down list. I know feature requests are a dime a dozen, but if you were able to include the capability to add version numbers back to the addon manager, it would make this even better. Other addons exist that do this, but it seems silly to install a separate addon for such simple functionality. This would also allow users that require version numbers to disable them on the drop-down list, giving a cleaner look.

This is an extremely functional and polished addon. Works flawlessly on the latest nightly build. Definitely deserves more attention! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
