v2.0.2 seems to work with Firefox 17ESR Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Since Video WithOut Flash v2.0.2 seems to work with Firefox 17ESR, it probably works for Firefox 17 to 26...
(AT YOUR OWN RISK : overriding the version compatibility blockage for Firefox 17 to 26
right-click > 'Save As...' on the 'Download Now' button, save the 'video_without_flash-2.0.2-fx.xpi' on your disk
open the archive with some (free) archiver application, extract the 'install.rdf' file and edit 'minVersion' to 17.0
replace the 'install.rdf' with your edited one in the 'video_without_flash-2.0.2-fx.xpi'
in Firefox, on the Add-ons Manager tab, 'Install Add-on From File...' > select and install the modified .xpi file)
If you don't want to play flash videos within your browser, but just want to save them to your disk for later viewing,
you need zero plugins with this add-on enabled.
With FFx 17ESR, Cookie Monster Version 1.1.0 is OK, 1.2.0 does not work Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Using Firefox 17.0.11 ESR
Cookie monster version 1.1.0 works okay
Cookie monster version 1.2.0 does not work:
the toolbar button does not display a menu when clicked.
(could be a conflict with Vertical Toolbar extension since my Cookie monster button is installed in my Vertical Toolbar)
Firefox 17.0.11 ESR : add-on version 3.0.1-3.0.2 NOT working, but v3.0.0 OK Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Seems a very good add-on.
However with 'Firefox 17.0.11 ESR' and 'Mozilla Archive Format' version 3.0.2-3.0.1, when doing a 'save as' or a 'save page in archive as' the possibility to save as MAFF or MHTML does not appear in the drop-down box (only the regular save options).
(in the change log, I can see that something has been changed in a the 'save as' dialog box in version 3.0.1-3.0.2)
No problem with add-on version 3.0.0
(I have to remember not to update this add-on for the moment)
Good extension to save vertical space Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Already a very useful extension (to save vertical space), allowing you to remove completely the standard 'navigation toolbar',
but still needs some debugging for the auto-hide feature.
* 'Automatically hide' in Full Screen Mode (F11) does not work, if 'automatically hide' in Normal Mode is not also enabled.
* Like the vdog user, upon Firefox (v17.0.5) restart the bar won't auto-hide completely and will blink.
* On auto-hide mode, toggling between full screen and normal view can make the bottom buttons invisible.
Otherwise (apart from the auto-hide feature) this extension works very well for me.
