As of Firefox 34.0 — but possibly earlier — Interclue is no longer working at all. That is to say, the icon to preview the link doesn't appear, rendering the add-on unusable.
I would also like to second Dan's suggestion for nested previewing.
Have the same problem as Antoine after updating to Firefox 33. Suspended tabs eventually get an underlined title, and when this happens I can't close them or move them. Even selecting "move to new window" doesn't work. And occasionally an underlined tab will not allow me to select it, when I try the tab next to it is selected instead.
Downloading the latest version didn't fix the issue for me, still brings up an empty web page. Edit: Nevermind, suddenly it started working. Though I'm wondering why 1080p is no longer available as it says in the description?
Edit: Ah, I see. That sucks. :/
In Firefox's View—>Toolbars—>Customize… window, the icon doesn't look normal, it looks like the back, forward, refresh, and stop buttons all in one icon, and with no text to indicate what it is. When I mouse over it the word "feedly" appears, and that's the only reason I knew what it was. It appears normal in the toolbar itself, though.
This is an invaluable tool. I wish there were a name dictionary as good as this in every language. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.01.120729.1-signed).
This add-on used to work fine for me, but now, like Denise Brogan-Kator, I just get a blank screen. What gives?
My apologies. Turns out the problem was not with this add-on. I discovered that I couldn't view or download PDFs with my browser, or with other plugins. The problem was caused by my Adobe Acrobat NPAPI plugin. Wow. I knew that plugin didn't work, but I didn't realize it could cause such problems as this!
I click "Allow Flash on this website", and the checkmark doesn't appear. It works anyway, but it would be nice to have the checkmark working. This problem persists even after I reset Firefox.
Annnnd two days later, suddenly my problem is GONE. Whaaaaaat.
I posted ages ago on the RedShift forum about a problem I'm having where most toolbar buttons are invisible, and the problem has not been fixed. This used to be my favourite theme, but I haven't been able to use it in ages due to this lack of support. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (11.0). Having the same problem as other people -- on some videos, the audio starts playing on its own, but the video won't play when I click the button. This always happens for certain videos. It's gotten to the point where it isn't worth it to continue with this add-on. Plus you can't see the thumbnail before it plays.
Ironically, the day after writing that I had not experienced any problems, I had the problem others have mentioned of the back button not doing anything. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
This is the kind of function I have been wishing for for a long time. It never occurred to me there might be an add-on for it.
I haven't experienced any problems with it like some of the others here, perhaps because I don't use it often. Who knows.
Issue #1: With the Firefox 8 update, most of the standard buttons aren't showing up.
Issue #2: The subscribe button is ugly.
Issue #3: The forum appears to not be working. I get "problem loading page". Which is why I am posting my issues here instead of there.
I'm so used to this add-on that it feels weird not being able to highlight and wait for a pop-up when I'm using another computer. I never use FastestFox's other functions, though. :/This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
@Alexander, So it's as useful as a UserScript, which you apparently think is a bad thing. Big deal. We use it because we can't be bothered with UserScript. I doubt that some or even many of us even know what that is.
Just because it lacks some features that you think it should have (I'll concede that a multiple-tab integration would be an improvement, but nothing else you've said makes sense), doesn't mean it's a bad add-on or that other people shouldn't love it.
This has helped me find larger versions of images online, so I don't have to try and find it on Google, which takes forever if it even succeeds at all. I don't use this often, but when I do, it does what I need.
Kara, Mozilla didn't make this add-on, so they're not responsible for keeping it updated. This user has 7 previous reviews of this add-on.
Why does the page say "Redshift V4 is designed for use with Firefox 4.0 - 6.*"? It's not compatible with Firefox 6.0.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.0). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Version 6! VERSION 6!!! BEFORE I DIE!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.0). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I said this before in a review and got no response, and your home page isn't working, so I'm just going to write it again and hope that you see it this time: The add-on works great, no complaints there, but the buttons block out a small area of the screen, like so:
@Pijuvwy, the Schubert plugin works fine for me on a 64-bit computer with Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Firefox 5.0.1, so I don't know why it's not working on yours. :SThis user has other reviews of this add-on.
