QGTranslate

Where's the icon?? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Before I can tell something about this add-on, I need to see the icon. I've just installed but can not see the icon, not in the Status Bar nor in Customize Toolbar (where the icons are). So I do not know if this add-on is useful or useless. I can give it one star for now.

HyperTranslate

VERY useful translator Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hyper Translator is a very good add-on that translates selected word/s when I hold the SHIFT button. There are so many languages I can choose to be translated into that language. I also can choose text color.

But I wish you would add a hoover-effect so that I do not need to hold a button. But it's very usefull and works fine with Firefox version 28. No problems with older FF version.

Four stars your your add-on and when I add hoover -effect I will give five stars.

Google Translator for Firefox

Useful translator, BUT... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Finally, I found a usefull translator. I have tried today 5 translator add-ons and all 5 was USELESS.

Now, this add-on Google Translator for Firefox looks good. It translates the selected texts. BUT it translates the selected words completelely into the language and the original language texts are gone!

I hope the add.on maker will change it and add an extra window (no new browser window next to opened window). Then I would give it 5 stars.

Easy Google Translate

Extremely useless translator Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have just installed it. But I see nothing and when I select texts there is nothing. Nothing appears. And I see no icons in the status bar or elsewhere in Firefox, or even when I click right mouse button.

I wish Mozilla would add 0 (zero) star too so that I can give baddest add-ons zero star.

Gesture Translate

USELESS translator Rated 1 out of 5 stars

A useless translator that translates in a new Google Translator page window. No hoover effects, no translation within own add-on window.

EXTREMELY useless add-on. I would even give it ZERO star.

Hover Translate

Extremely cheap translator Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have just installed this add-on then after Firefox start tried to use it. Selecting words it opens after seconds a SMALL info window but translates ONLY ONE word then tells me to click the link within that small window!

Extremely annoying and bad translator. ONE star for it.

Translate This!

Very bad and annoying add-on Rated 1 out of 5 stars

What a stupid idea to make translator that opens Google translator page for the selected texts in a new window or translates within the visited page (then the visited page is gone and you see Google translator page). It has just 2 options (windowed mode or not). Extremely annoying and bad add-on.

ONE star for one of the baddest translators in the Firefox world!

I am trying to find usefull translators (with hoover effect) but I get always the baddest.

Nice Translator

Cheap add-on Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It has no options to change language and has no hover-option. I have to take texts then with right mouse button-click on Nice Translator to translate it but it does NOT translate. The opened window is too small so that long texts do not fit in that add-on window. VERY VERY badd add-on.

ONE star for this add-on and I will uninstall it.

Inline Translator

One of the BADDEST translators! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is one of the BADDEST translators I have used in Firefox. It worked after installation but next day it does not work anymore I get an error message with JSON and it does NOT translate anymore. I have uninstalled it.

ONE star for this add-on. I would give ZERO star...

By the way, I am using Firefox version 28 !!!

Aero Improved

One of the best themes Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm using this theme since years and I have to say that I'm very happy with it. It has modern icons when I add icons to the status bar (under the opened main menu. Mian menu is always visible.).

I have no problems with this theme with installed many add-ons. I also have installed the add-ons Nightly Compatibility Check and checked "Force Addon Compatibility".

I give your add-on five stars.

By the way, I am using Firefox version 28!!! I will NEVER use newer versions (29+) until Firefox allows me to add the icons into the status bar how I like it and not how Firefox likes it since version 29. To avoid that Firefox makes update to newer version I have DELETED "Update.exe" file!

Walnut2 for Firefox

Great wooden add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very good, wooden extension. The icons are not too high as in almost all other extensions, they are wider. This looks much clearer. This has yellowish appearance, something to yellow, but it works.

As I add many icon in the upper main bar that does not take up much space, so the browser window has more to offer (with the name of the icon on).

By the way, I'm using (since 2014) Firefox 26, 27 or 28.

Gmail Notifier (restartless)

Does NOT work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

After updated to the newest version, it does not work anymore or it shows 4 emails, but I have one email.

The older version worked fine and I had no problem.

Until its fixed I give one star.

30th August 2014:
I forgot to say...
I'm using Firefox 28. The issues I have with Gmail Notifier have to do with Twitter email notifications. Sometimes it works then not (worked yesterday, but does not work today). I don't know if it has to do with Gmail Notifier or Twitter.

By the way, the issues I had that Gmail Notifier showed 4 emails had to do with an another add-on, called Google Mail Notifier I had installed (but I don't know why I have installed two same add-ons).

Otherwise, I really love this add-on Gmail Notifier. I can ready notifications, I can archive, I can delete or I can mark it as "read". A great add-on. Keep it up-to date.

Quick Translator

Very useful translator Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A very useful and practical application.

Once I have selected a word or phrase that will appear a small icon and when I click on it, the text is translated into the selected language. The translation will then appear at the bottom right of the browser window.

I have more than 50 languages that I can translate into my native language.

I give it five stars, as long as it's up to date.

Makes Twitter better Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great and useful Add-on. I just have installed it today and looked on my Twitter page. I must say, I have different and BETTER Twitter layout. On the left side time of the post with small icon of the Twitter user, on the right side wider information panel (post information). I have to try it out. Five stars for your Add-on, because it looks really useful. I am using Firefox Aurora version 26 and Firefox version 24. I have installed it on Aurora.

Image Toolbar

Does NOT work since FF 27 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I am using Firefox Aurora version 27. Image Toolbar does NOT work anymore. It worked with version Aurora 25 and I haven't updated to newer Firefox version for few weeks.

I don't understand, why Mozilla changes with every newer versions Firefox' codes, because with every new version some Add-ons do not work. What can the makers of Add-ons for when Firefox is constantly modifying the code? This is so frustrating.

I haven't updated Firefox for few weeks and my Add-ons worked well. After I've updated MANUALLY (automatic Firefox update is not activated), some of my Add-ons do not work.

I am using Nightly Tester Tools and I have activated "Force Addon Compatibility", so Firefox can never check if my Add-ons are compatible. Firefox tells that Aero Improved theme is incompatible but I am using this theme without any errors. I should install Aurora version 25 again because I can not use Firefox without Image Toolbar...

Panic Button

Very useful add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I tried Save My Ass. But had problems with it. Your add-on is great and very useful and helpful. With one click I can hide Firefox completely and I get a small window where I can restore my browser at any time.

It also "freezes" Firefox, while it's hidden, in the background (useful to save memory). But it's not good to hide Firefox when you're editing (forum) comments. After restoring, the page will be re-loaded and your work lost! But, anyway, it's better to hide secrets from your boss than that he knows what a bad boy you was! Do NOT forget to close your browser completely when you're going out!!! Otherwise, your boss will restore Firefox! Five stars for your GREAT add-on.

Navigational Sounds

Works now with Aurora 26 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for the answer.

OK, after updated your add-on, I've downloaded a file and I could hear the sound for download, that I couldn't hear before with Nightly and Aurora. I'm using currently Aurora 26, too.

Great add-on. Five stars.

Nightly Tester Tools

tested few weeks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OK, thank you for answering.

Like I said, I have tested your add-on for a few weeks with different add-ons and browser crashes. After first install, I had some problems but I think it was my fault because I didn't know how to use your add-on properly. I had only two times Firefox crashes (Aurora). I HAD before installed your add-on very often crashes (especially when Firefox reached 700 MB to 1,5 GB memory usage). I think that your add-on helped to make Firefox more stable?

I will use Nightly Tester Tools. I'll report if I've issues. For now, it works great. 5 stars for your add-on.

Too big fonts Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The fonts are too long and I'm using many icons within 3 tool bars. It's useless and your add-on changed my tool bar (search bar was under all bars but now on top of all tool bars). It uses too many spaces between fonts/icons.

One star. Too big fonts, too big icons.
