Works like a charm - pure awesomeness! Thanks for your dedication! :)

Google Images

Doesn't work as of at least 2018-01-13, because of changes on Google's end Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Redirects searches to

https://images.google.com/images?q={searchTerms}&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls={moz:distributionID}:{moz:locale}:{moz:official}

where you get a "404. That’s an error. The requested URL /images was not found on this server. That’s all we know."

To get it working, one needs to change the target URL to

https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q={searchTerms}

If you want to include size info as a small overlay band/stripe at the bottom of each image without clicking Tools -> Show sizes, just add "&tbs=imgo:1" to the URL given above, e. g.: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&tbs=imgo:1&q={searchTerms}

Also, Google typically detects localization correctly on its own, hence I left it out in my suggestion above. But if you need it, just add "&hl={moz:locale}" to the URL, e. g. https://www.google.de/search?tbm=isch&tbs=imgo:1&hl={moz:locale}&q={searchTerms}

Lastly, I care about privacy, hence I do *not* include ie/oe/rls parameters since it's non of Google's business.
Besides, the URL looks much cleaner this way and is editable, if required. ;)

URL Link

Neil is the best! :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Update to my previous review (now deleted by myself due to being obsolete):

It's amazing what Neil did with his take on rewriting URL Link as a WebExtension.
Thank you so much for putting that much effort into it! :)

My claim about your switch to Chrome originated from one of our direct mails where I read it as "I'll switch to Chrome soon" - at least, I thought so.
I apologize for misinterpreting your mail. It's good to know you're sticking with the hot fox. ;)

Lastly, as a suggestion, I'd like to ask if we (maybe via an option) can eliminate the new sub-sub menu, i. e. instead of:
URL Link -> Open Selection in New Tab, Help & Preferences -> Unaltered, [my defined targets]
I'd like to simply have
URL Link -> Unaltered, [my defined targets]

New Tab Tools

Awesome, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

... I'm missing the ability to _manually_ add a tile, e.g. by right clicking, pasting an URL, setting a title and then New Tab Tools should download the preview image and favicon itself.

Genial, aber... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Am besten so wie AdBlock Plus, wo man's direkt im Add-Ons-Manager sieht und nicht erst auf die AMO-Präsenz gehen muss.
