very usefull, missing one option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like this add-on as it helps me differentiate scam and real websites and gives me more information about the site im visiting.

I would like to see the option to view the alexa.com ranking of the site.. Is this possible?

The only thing I'd change is the 'Wikipedia' button, it's useless. I'd prefer more info about the server, ping, tracert or something else using the URL/IP.

yep

Occasionally the Wikipedia lookup is useful to identify an obscure country you may never have heard of, but yeah, most of the time it's quite useless. But hey, it's been in there in some form since version 1.0 (two developers ago) so I just leave it in there with a little context menu entry.

Geotool and whois give you most of the kind of info you're looking for. As to adding other lookups, you can add a custom one in the options menu. For example:
http://dns-tools.domaintools.com/?q={domainName}&m=traceroute

A little more info for security reasons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

All this does is put a flag in the search bar to tell you where the server is located for the site you are currently at. It helps in determining legitimacy and it's kind of neat. I think it might be possible for people to misrepresent though. I like this together with the Locationbar2 add-on.

How to turn off the note? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful, thanks. Only one thing - the pop up note is a bit annoying in spite of the "Don't show this again" checkbox presence. Is it possible to have something like "don't show pop up note" checkbox in properties dialog? I'd like only see the flag.

Sounds non-sense but I love it.

Excellent!
Suggestion A) Add variable timeout for message bar to disappear after a few seconds (like in NoScript) B) Whitelisting of sites (e.g. Google that uses cache servers)

Très Eclaircissant pour moi, cet Add-on me situe dans la ''nébuleuse'' serveurs et autres ''prète-noms''. C'est mieux de voir son parcours. Merci !

Preet cool add-on. Before installing it, i was somewhat oblivious to where the page was actually comming from. And with that i mean were the server is located at. A nice non-obtrusive flag on the url bar shows you exactly that. Now, i feel naked if i have this add-on disabled. Try it!

It's amazing how often I use this add-on. It's opened my eyes to how the internet is organised. I find it fascinating, informative and revealing. Even the web domains I own myself turn out to be sited where I was suprprised to find them! The ongoing link to domaintools makes this a must. Thanks so much for it, it's a real boon.

I want to set up a query for alexa.com when I use http://www.alexa.com/search?q= My statement is incomplete. How do i add to it to do a specific site search? Thanks

missing placeholder

You need to add the placeholder for the domain name to the URL to tell Flagfox what to search with. Click the little help icon in the options menu to list the available variables and their placeholders.

To search Alexa for a domain name:
http://www.alexa.com/search?q={domainName}
To search Alexa within a domain name:
http://www.alexa.com/search?q=site:{domainName}
(though, Alexa seems to ignore sub-domains here)
