encountered a bug in latest nightly.
the bluhell icon disappears from the toolbar. might have to do with australis. going to add-ons and reinstaling bluhell brings the icon back.
would have reported on support site (no AMO) um I think in the future you should make one. btw keep up the great work, love the pure performance of bluhell.

Pros:
1. low Memory usage:
Firefox + Bluhell Firewall: 200MB
Firefox + ABP: 300MB
2. firefox more responsive, less lag compared to ABP.

Cons:
1. most blocked ads are international so it little chance to block local or country ads
2. no whitelists URL so you need manually click the icon to enable/disable
3. no personal/custom Filter

Super Ad blocker Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Overall its the best ad blocker ive seen due to its efficiency and effectiveness. Some extra configurability would be a bonus. The icon is a little bit creepy.

Almost perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It does what it advertises in a non-intrusive way. However, it does not blocks sponsored ad's on some social media websites (like Facebook).

I like it, seems mostly unobtrusive, add exception list if possible Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's been working well for me for a couple months. Generally it just works and I don't pay much attention. I add my vote for adding a user-customizable exception list if it doesn't interfere with the developer's intent for a lightweight extension.

Works on 99% of sites.
Exclusion, if you upload a file to mirrorcreator.com when that finishes you then click on download links and select the link you want, normally i copy this and there is a pop up, bluhell does not stop this one.

Also, bluhell does not stop popup @ perfectgirls.net, always the same popup after you checkout a few videos.

But really a great product.
I have 0 site compatibility issues.
Coupled with Disconnect, this is the product of Kings, much better then Adblock

Need some help Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Just want to know how we can see that bluhell is on or off (which colour of the head)?

Black: Disabled
Blue (white eyes): Enabled

It works well and is really light. but in some cases it blocks too much. I think of an exception list it could use.

It isn't as thorough as other ad blockers, but it's really light on resources and works well enough. I think it's a good compromise. It really needs a whitelist feature though.

Blocks too much? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This breaks rendering https://mixpanel.com for me. It seems like it might be trying to block analytics, but I guess that's not what I'm looking for in an adblocker. It worked well enough for me otherwise.

Well, Bluhell wasn't named AdBlock-whatever for a reason, it isn't just an ad-blocker. You're correct in your findings, that's due the tracking protection which blocks analytics and any such service known for tracking users.

best adblocker Rated 5 out of 5 stars

ive tried some of the other addblockers, this works the best.

I have tried Adblock, Privdog, Ghostery, disconnect, though the latter is not a bad choice , BluHell was the only addon of it's category to not stop certain sites from sniffing up the language I use in my browser , when I disconnected it , back to revealing the language, activate it, it's gone , my ratings usually are for what the developer say their addon does, well, Bluehell not does what you say it does, with cream on top, though still lags the browser a little ; the convenience of switching it off/on so quickly compensates real well, besides it's still in development I suppose ?

I think you're misunderstanding the concept and the goal. Bluhell is announced as being able to block about 7000 domains known to serve adverts and tracking users, and that being achieved on a lightweight fashion to be faster on mobile devices/slow hardware, or just for those users that regardless of the hardware want to have a better performance because their surfing needs doesn't require the use of the bloated alternatives.

So, you're claiming Bluhell "doesn't do what it says it does" because it does not do something to your browser's language... are you serious? Where did you read it have to do something remotely related to that?

Opening links from Thunderbird Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Bluehell works OK, initially a few adds got through but I haven't seen one lately, the main issue for me though is that when I click a link from the the guardian today email to the guardian website, it blocks it and asks me to allow it, something I have to do daily. It would be nice if it had a remember my decision option, or else if it didn't automatically block webpages opened from links in Thunderbird.

Sure, having a option to remember a domain could be a good idea and shouldn't slow down the extension - noted for the next version. Thank you for your review.

NOT SURE YET Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Looks and sounds great, not sure yet if it is working, just had another popup as I restarted my machine after installing this app so I'll wait and see. If it works I will be happy to contribute.

Could be 5 stars, just needs some options like whitelisting.

please sort it out Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi there. I really like this add on so far and it seems to do what it claims that it does. However every time i load firefox i get an annoying pop up asking me if i want it to protect my browser from some changes i may not want and gives me the option to save it after ticking the box. But again i still get it appearing every time i load firefox. so please fix it so that it only needs to be ticked and saved once. apart from that one issue the add on is fantastic.

EDIT: Turned out that is was not this add on making the pop up after all. it was a stupid add on from Norton anti-virus called Norton vulnerability protection ( i would disable it if you have it unless you actually like having pop ups every time you start your firefox browser )

So i must apologise for my mistake

Hi, I have no idea about what you're talking about, so i guess you wanted to give that review to another add-on (?)

Thank you for the add-on, I really like it a lot, and use it as default ad-blocker.
I don't see the blue-hell firewall icon, on the add-on bar now...I'm using firefox 26
I wanted to disable it for a website but I wasn't able to do it.

Most likely it's gone on the "Customize Panel"
