MaskMe: Online Privacy Protection

So what will happen to all our 'masked' emails when you abandon this product? Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This product works well enough, but when you abandoned PrivacySuite we were left with masked email addresses we can no longer block or control, but still get forwarded.

My only option appears to be to look up all the addresses I used in PrivacySuite, and update all those sites to new masked emails in Maskme, or to my real email, or delete the accounts.

How long until this clock runs out? Will you notify us that we'll need to take action, or just let us find out on our own... again?

Sorry, but my comfort in 'trusting' Abine has failed.

PrivacySuite

Another abandoned project from Abine? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I enjoyed using the product for some time, but now find I can no longer block masked emails created with PrivacySuite. PrivacySuite also no longer shows up in Abine's product list. Now they have MaskMe for this function. While MaseMe will import your passwords from from PriacySuite, it will not import your masked emails, so it appears we've lost all control of old masked email addresses. Flying wonderful!

This is the second time, that I am aware of, where Abine apparently has abandoned a product, providing no notification to users, or method of cleaning up the wreckage they've left behind.

While I understand that these products are free, with primium options, and therefore may be found unprofitable; I think I may be about done with ABINE. Though I tend to like their products, abandonment seems to create issues with excessive risks, or at least intolerable irritants.

Fast Dial

Version 2.16 update blows! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Just did the update and it has hosed all my FastDial folders. Everything on first page and replicated in the proceeding levels. I'll likely trash it just to get rid of the mess it made, then *consider* reinstalling.

If you use it and like it... DON'T DO THE UPDATE!!!

1 hour later: I've tried returning to version 2.11, still had to delete the new locations 2.16 added. All my custom logos and other personalization/organization are gone. I'm really not in the mood to redo all the work I had done previously. Time to uninstall and take out the trash. Stay with your regular bookmarks!

Talk about hero to zero in 30 seconds.
