Don't Delete DNT+ cookies, with CCleaner...! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I installed DNT+ (downloaded from abine), on IE/FF.
Today when I ran CCleaner, there was a Whole page of new cookies!?
This was alarming!- I have 3d party cookies disabled, and ask-every-time on regular cookies.
I would Never have accepted a cookie from the likes of zedo.com, and figured the DNT installation must have put these on my computer?-
I emailed abine?- They replied that these were safe opt-out cookies, and necessary for DNT to work properly.
I've only had DNT for a few days, but so-far-so-good (hundreds of Social Tracking/... blocks!)! :o)
Very Confusing! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
Easy to Save a cookie.txt backup, but CONFUSING when I need to import it back in!-
Instructions say- Very useful for WGET --load-cookies option.
example?- wget --load-cookies=cookies.txt
-I have NO idea how to use wget!- Author needs to provide EXPLICIT instructions, that a FF novice can use!
Then developer says- This seems to work properly, but if you notice something wrong just write me - as always :-) ?- No link that I could find to write him though!?
Other Thoughts!- I sure miss the user friendliness of IE7 on Favorites, and cookies!
FF is cumbersome, and I wish I had XP back!
