Flashblock

No longer works correctly Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Flashblock used to work properly, but now its a hit and miss.

Why? because sometimes even when the flashblock is set to allow everything. It still blocks certain websites.
Applications like Netflix will not work regardless of whitelists or allow everything.
The only way to make netflix load is to disable flashblock completely.
This makes me wonder, because netflix is supposed to use Silverlight, not Flash.

The reported bug as been stagnant since 5 months, with no update. What a shame!

Save File to

Does its job but as its problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This extension does exactly was it describes. It helps to create menus to save files (specially images) easily in directories you set. Making it a breeze to save images from galleries into preset directories immediately.

This extension is not without flaws.
For example, there is no option to allow overwriting or not.
By default the program saves images again and again and just adds a new number to the file.
If you're constantly browsing web galleries, you might end with a ton of duplicated files because of this.

I suggest the creator to add an option to check existing files while saving.

Save Images

Excellent tool for saving multiple images, but new websites do not work correctly Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This tool works really well for getting the IMG tag based images. This work on most galleries. But more and more websites use Javascript based preloaders and different tagged images.
These websites with their tags makes this program.. sadly.. useless.
sites like Tumblr for example, store in their previewers different tags in both their A links and IMG tags, making this adding to dont work properly (open image links not detected for example).

I hope the creator can expand this amazing tool to handle new websites such as tumblr.

Blur

Used to be good Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Used to be good, easy to configure and use.
now its a total piece of junk.

You require to constantly go to a website to manage your options.. this is unacceptable.
Also the options not always work, you most of the time cant go to change these options! their page just asks you to register again and again.

Also despite turning off the email filtering.. It is still annoying me with the dumb "mask your email'.

Farewell DoNotTrackMe, You converted into something you supposedly were used to avoid.

Save Images

Excelent a Must have! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This app as saved me thousand of hours of saving image one by one.
You can extract and save entire galleries in a single go.
The filters also helps wonders to only display and download the specific things you want.

Just a suggestion:
maybe in the future.. add variables that let you customize the filename the files are saved? like regex or similar.
Id love to have something to mix the original filenames + other text like date.
example: in the SAVE IMAGE - FILENAME box, when it asks for the filename.. you can add something like $orname to insert the original name of the file.

this would be useful to group pictures together and not rename everything.

Save Image in Folder

Works Well but.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does not work properly on all websites,
It seems to read the filename using a request. This is not good for sites that use PHP or other active language. Since the filename and data is contained in the response of the server.
Using save images in folder in a site like these.. will always try to save a file with no extension named "unknown.ext"

Save Images

Btw, can you add recursive function in the next versions?
Example, once you open all "links" in a new tab, to be hable again to do it.
there are some galleries that first show the tiny thumbnails, then a medium image, and then the full image.
since this doesnt allow to filter an already filtered links tab, it gets thedius to have to again click on every link to get the real images.
one example is LIVEJOURNAL image galleries.
