GREAT Addon ... but with one annoying issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love this addon but it has one annoying issue. Occasionally when loading Firefox (v34.0.5), the bottom row of icons disappear. I only ever keep the one row of extra bookmarks that RBT provides. The actual row is there but the icons are missing. A restart of Firefox usually brings them back, but not always, sometimes requiring a multiple restart to again display them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed).
I'm missing this addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I used this addon everyday and now that the latest Firefox has broke it, there isn't a single day goes by that I'm not looking for the red X to log out of Google and it's invasive tracking.
EDIT: The Red X is back! Thank you!!!

I absolutely love this add-on. The only thing lacking is the inability to sort my email addresses identities alphabetically. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.8).
Firefox 32 BROKE Gmail Notifier NG Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Add me to the list of users who updated to Firefox 32.0 which broke Gmail Manager NG. I've tried many of the other Gmail notifiers out there ... and this is by far the BEST. Please fix.
With DNT+ enabled and visiting
amd attermpting to click on one of the links under Frequently Asked Questions on the right hand side mid-way down ... such as the "Getting to know the Linksys E4200: link ... it will NOT open. Disabling the DNT+ addon and then restarting FF13. then revisiting the site & again attempting to open the link results in a successfully visited URL.
I've noticed this behavior on other sites as well, but only now did I track it down to DNT+ as being the culprit.
I like DoNotTrackPlus, but this behavior is a game breaker for me.
Might need to be Updated Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm getting a notification that "Gmail Manager 0.6.4.1 is incompatible with Firefox 6.0" and Gmail Manager locked up Firefox 6.0. I removed and then re-installed Gmail Manager and all seems to be good now.
Google broke it again Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Apparently Google recently made the 'Always use https' setting the default behavior in Gmail and that is what broke the Gmail Notifier addon by no longer allowing it to access via http.
Here's the skinny . . .
Please note that selecting 'Always use https' will prevent you from accessing Gmail via HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). If you trust the security of your network, you can turn this feature off at any time.http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=74765
So once again, Google broke this addon by making changes to your Gmail settings .
See my previous review for instructions on how to get it working again.
Problem logging in ? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
For those of you experiencing auto-login problems, try this:
1) Login to your Gmail account
2) Select "Settings" in the upper right hand area beside your email address
3) In the list of options, under "Browser Connection", make sure that "Don't always use https" is selected
4) Scroll to the bottom of the page and Save Changes
5) Restart Browser
