Extremely usefull Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on improved functionality of my youtube by 1000%. VERSION IN MOZILLA STORAGE IS OUTDATED but developer version from it's website works just fine. All you need to make it work is Greasemonkey add-on (you don't even have to configure it, just install) before you install YouTube Center from here: https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki/Developer-Version . It gives you so many options to customize your YouTube experience that you will never want to browse it without this add-on. Player resizing, page display customization, no chopped buffering! and many more. This is awesome.

I Cannot Use YouTube Without YTC: GET THE DEV VERSION ON GITHUB! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is a life-saver. After the many terrible updates YouTube has gone through, YTC has saved me the trouble of having to figure out work-arounds for all the things they change/break. It has a slew of really nice/great features.

The reviewers here that gave 1 star reviews must not be able to read. It clearly states when this version was last updated. It is no longer updated here because Mozilla takes an extremely long amount of time to accept revisions, and the guy who made the add-on now works full-time. This is only a passion project for him.

He also updates with small changes, bugfixes, and other general improvements all the time. If you want the version that works, just head over to the YTC GitHUB and look for the Developer Version on the wiki page. You will need the JavaScript version (using Tamper/Grease Monkey) as Mozilla now forces add-ons to be signed which, obviously, isn't happening for the Developer Version(s) that are constantly being updated.

Overall: It is an amazing add-on that significantly helps with quality of life additions and changes to the way YouTube works. Many thanks to the author (and the others who help him on the GitHub) and his thankless hard work.

Developer Build WORKS And IS Being Updated Rated 5 out of 5 stars

While it is true that the extension on this site does not work properly—and isn't being updated—the Developer Version DOES work and IS being updated on a regular basis (https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki/Developer-Version).

My preference is to use the Userscript version which requires that the Greasemonkey extension first be installed (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/?src=search). The Userscript version will also automatically update just like a regular extension.

I have tried a number of other ‘YouTube enhancing’ extensions, but none have as many features as this gem. Consequently, I want to thank the developer for his/her continuing efforts.

Abandonware; don't download this Rated 1 out of 5 stars

wasting my time by saving yours. this addon doesn't work due to a lack of updates.

Lame excuses for not updating Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Seeing how someone pointed out the AMO site is slow to approve updates and that very well maybe the case but I doubt that is the whole truth. Goto the YouTube centers Facebook page and you will see the same lack of ambition. No posts or updates of any kind for at least few years. Abandonware.

Still works great, but you NEED the developer version Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Slow approvals drove the dev away from bothering to post on AMO. You HAVE to go to the developer's site and get the dev build- it comes in both user script and extension format, one or the other WILL work for you! I use this every day and it's the greatest. No dash, no autoplay, no auto-play-a-video-I-never-clicked, no weird guide spam, no DASH only-give-me-a-tiny-piece-at-a-time buffering. Most of the garbage removed, and good features added like runtime and bitrate on thumbnails, automatic theater mode and more!

Crashed my Firefox Rated 2 out of 5 stars

For a long time it actually worked just fine in the Firefox 39 i was using. But then Firefox crashed. I could not get life back in to it and safe mode did also not work at all, not even trying to reinstall helped.
I then installed Tor browser and was able to download the latest version of Firefox, which is 48.0.2
But that one also crashed, but i was able to at least start that one in safe mode.
I then removed YouTube Center, because it was red flagged and then all of a sudden i got full life back in to Firefox.

So obviously YouTube Center was the cause of these problems. It must have a serious issue that needs to be looked at.
Crash report was filed to Mozilla, so they also can take a look at it.

Doesnt work, i cant do anything

Doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As of Firefox 47, this isn't working. It installs, but I see clicking options just loads Youtube's main page, and I see nothing there or on videos to do anything listed here.

Not working in Firefox 45, userscript does though Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Neither this version nor the developer version works with Firefox 45.
Using the userscript itself with greasemonkey does however.
I suspect the addon uses some deprecated and long removed Firefox functionality. Shame it is not properly maintained anymore. It's a great addition to Youtube.

Bueller, bueller, bueller... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It is unfortunate the developer of this add-on has stopped posting updates to the proper place for Firefox add-ons. Github is a mess for the average computer user. THIS web site is where it needs to be posted, or it just doesn't matter.

Despite being listed as updated on Jan 23 of 2016, this add on still does absolutely nothing.

Totally worthless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and is totally worthless.
