Nice, easy and lightweight addon. There's still room for it to get better : unsuspend tab with mouse click option, a background displaying the supended status of the tab, etc etc etc

Curious ommision Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I have a window always open with about 25 tabs for reference (Google Books... and they consume a lot of memory). 'Suspend all other tabs'... Great! Quickly and easily done. But why the hell is there no 'Resume all other tabs'? I'm not going to mess about 'resuming' each tab every time I want access the tabs in that particular window.
Excellent for power users! Works in many heavy scenarios! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I usually have over 50+ tabs open for my work. This was causing my FireFox to choke & crash constantly. YouTube pages were especially resource-hogging.
The thing is, I only usually work with around 10 tabs at a time. The others are open & sorted for special use cases (Wiki's, Dictionaries, Reference Guides etc.).
With this add-on, I can suspend the tabs I don't currently need. There are a number of methods.
One method of suspending tabs is to right click tab & suspend an individual tab OR suspend all other tabs.
Another method is to set program to automatically suspend tabs after a time period of inactivity. This is actually a brilliant option. In my extreme usage, I would notice that FireFox would freeze up or crash if I left it alone for a few hours. With this option, I can preserve system resources & not have to re-open session all over again.
In my first use, I saw FireFox drop from 2.4 gb+ memory usage to 1.4 gb. Everything is running smoother. So there are real results to using this add-on.
Also, very important to note. I use another add-on called "Session Manager" regularly. I was worried that this add-on would make suspended tabs invisible to the "Session Manager" save tool. I am very happy to report that "Session Manager" can see ALL tabs (even the suspended ones) when saving. So you won't miss anything.
Another impressive thing I noticed. I suspended a tab that had the Add-On page loaded. But in my Add-On page, I had navigated to the "More Information" section of an installed add-on. If you notice, the URL in the Add-On's section always remains the same...no matter where you travel. So there is a risk that when tab is un-suspended, it will simply re-load the URL in the address bar...forgetting actual location. I was very happy to see that un-supending the tab loaded the exact place I had left off (More Information section). It didn't just re-load the generic URL in the address bar.
- "Resume" context menu options should match "Suspend" options. For example, if there is a "Suspend all other tabs"...there should also be a "Resume all other tabs".
- There needs to be a "Resume all other tabs" context menu option. Currently, user has to click on every single tab if he needs entire browsing session active after suspension. This is very time-consuming when there are 50+ tabs that need to be clicked to be resumed.
- Context menu that reflect directional needs. For example "Resume/Suspend...all tabs to the left" & Resume/Suspend...all tabs to the right". If you sort and organize your tabs, such an option would make it much easier to resume/suspend tabs.

can i add filter for some web sites(tabs) that i do not want to suspend?
Suspend Tab Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This unloads one tab only and does not stops scripts in background pages?
Perhaps you could add the option to automatically freeze background Tabs at once, not unload them, to save CPU-Time? :)
Works as advertised :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Simple, but great functionality! Thank you for this.

Works with Tree Style Tab better than UnloadTab but you can't see which tabs are unloaded! I expect Piro The Amazing will fix that soon though :)
Nice addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It works pretty well, the only thing I want to see in the future releases is highlighting suspended tabs like in Tab Suspender for Chrome.
Thanks for this nice addon.

Keeps Firefox RAM usage under 2GB. Without this plugin, it was 3-4GB.

Though for some reason it suspends reddit tabs immediately when clicking away from them. A few others, too, even though it's set to wait five minutes in my preferences. I'll have to disable this until that's fixed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2016020401).
Doesn't work with pinned tabs Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It seems to work well but as others have said - it doesn't work with pinned tabs, so it's pretty much useless to me. :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2016020401).
