Autohide would work great IF Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Firefox allowed placing the tab bar at the bottom of the browser. Has anyone recompiled Firefox to do this? 5 stars because it does what's advertised, but hard to use autohide in Ubuntu Linux.

Fantastic Add-On Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is perfect. I often have 60 to 80 tabs open at any given time. Screen real estate can be a big issue at times and this really changes things for my everyday experience. Thank you so much! The only thing I think that might make this better is if you added another keybind to toggle the state of the Auto Hide feature.

I often go through periods where tab switching is rather minimal. Other times I am constantly switching tabs and could really use the extra web page space. So instead of having to switch the tab bar on/off constantly during this time, an Auto Hide toggle would be the perfect answer.

Unable to install Rated 2 out of 5 stars

When I click the install button I get a popup window from the url bar saying, "The addon cannot be installed...it appears to be corrupt."

It's good extension. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extansion is what I need. I use it.

essential add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Flawless execution, no compatibility issues.

Does what it says Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Options not fully working with some addons/configurations, but the hiding works well; very useful in case other extensions bring a broken autohide or when the tab width changes on hide/show (often happen in vertical tabbars, with the hotkey doesn't).

Please implement two options.

1.When user navigating then pop up the tab bar(with x delay to hide itself again.)

2.When user close tab then pop up the tab bar (with x delay to hide itself again.)

3.When user move the cursor on the top of the browser then pop up the tab bar.

Can you please implement above options
it's pretty awesome idea.

Going into menus reactivates tabs on my machine Rated 3 out of 5 stars

For some reason when I move the cursor up to type something in the address bar it wakes the tabs, which is really annoying. I just want to be rid of the buggers. :-(

I'd give this application 1 or 2 stars, but I gather from the other comments that this is not happening to everyone. But it makes it pretty useless for me. I want those things out of the way and not popping back on me every time I access my bookmarks, address field, buttons, or windows.

Firefox seriously blows these days. Unfortunately all the browsers are starting to blow. :-/

Say What? (Instructions Vague) Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Huh?
Need a little step-by-step for getting a hotkey to work with the hide task. (Like identifying where the is.)

Nice!
It would be great to also have a transition :-)

Causes 'This version of TabGroups Manager doesn't support old version of Tab Mix Plus. You should upgrade Tab Mix Plus or downgrade TabGroups Manager' message to appear and breaks tab bar whatsoever when activated. Should be fixed before becoming usable.

Life Saving Addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The most essential, mandatory, necessary and super important feature that the firefox team forgot to add. Thank you so much for this addon! I freaking hate tab bars more than anything else in life. Now I don't have to kill myself!

Thanks! And please fix a small issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very usefull! You saved me.
I will happy to see a user custom hotkeys (for example choose a "ctrl+\").
And please work on css. "!important" is broke my other tab extensions (Tree Style Tab, Classic Theme Restorer and etc.). If remove "!important" then all is fine.

MR321, I like your product and it works well.

I'm trying to add another key to which I can bind the shortcut (namely, X). Adding the option with proper value to options.xul proved ineffective. I'm guessing you met similar results. Do you know why adding this functionality does not work?

Great to see "hide tabs" feature again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was really bummed when Mozilla removed the "hide tabs" option some version ago, and it's great that this is possible again with this plugin.
Tab-free browsing ftw!

No luck Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It reported installing fine, but... when i clicked my extensions page list, it wasn't even visible, much less operational. As they say, WTF!?

About a month later: [after OS reinstall, and upgrade to FF30] Now it appears in my extensions list, but minus the configuration box [and still doesn't work]. Sigh.

intentionally broken by mozilla Rated 4 out of 5 stars

worked until i exited firefox and now it is disabled by default and cannot be re-enabled.

I've tried several other extensions to fix Mozilla's idiotic vision for the browser and so far all have been broken by them.

Love the add on, does just what it should; loathe the MozDev who thought making it like IE was good idea to cause less screen real estate when only one 'tab' open. User surly, no benefit, useless to waste the [admittedly small] are consumed for no reason…

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

pretty sweet (nice job).
i use openSuSE and KDE so i can hide (disable) title bars and borders for my windows or a window or app. i wrote addon for hiding navbar and bookmarks bar, now i don't have to right one for tabs.
my 'web page is now windowed at 1024 wide and literally top to bottom without 'full screen'...
Thanks, Спасибо
Landis.
one recommendation. enable or activate area could be larger or definable as i run my 'taskbar' at top of desktop and use autohide on it. i have to go so high to enable tabs bar, i am activating my taskbar and it covers the tab bar... just saying. again, good job.

Love it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you so much for this! Opened up my browser this morning to a new update (v23) and noticed that my home page opened in a tab. Very annoying! I looked in about:config and couldn't find anything that seemed to be related to this new horrible feature, then I found you! Again, thank you sooo much!!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0.1-signed.1-signed).
