Problem after some time Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I find this extensions great, but after some time (after first refresh time?) the panel turns blank and there's now way to get it back unsless I restart firefox.
Even the refresh button in the top left corner doesn't do anything.
Can this be fixed please?

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Hi and thanks for the review!
There is an issue that some users (including me) that are experimenting in other similar addons randomly that when you open the panel it is empty. This is easily "fixed" by hiding/showing the panel toolbar.
If this is not your case, please contact me via email (alejandrosbrizuela[at]

Dear Alejandro,
I can't thank you enough for the extensions you are making. I especially find the Keep and the Calendar panel life-saving.
Your work is highly appreciated.
I wish you all the best.

Hola Alejandro, me encantan todas tus extensiones.

Great addon ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It seemed to be broken with FF35...
It was either stuck with the message "We are loading your should take only a few seconds" or with the top bar of Google showing that I am logged in.

After uninstalling and re-installing the addon, it works again... weird, but OK.

I really like this addon, so it cool that I've managed to make it work again. ;)

Works like a charm. Allows me to receive notifications from the reminders on my mac without having to have the web-page open.

I'm using FireFox with Gkeep addon on MS surface pro 2. On the touch screen after open gkeep panel, I'm used to scroll verticaly with my finger. At the most time it will cause the Gkeep panel go out of right hand side on screen and just showing half of panel on screen. Firefox is V34 and Gkeep is V 1.0

Hi and thanks for using my addon!
The addon is not designed to be used in Firefox for touch screens, so I don't know how it behaves. Also, I don't know if is an addon issue or a Firefox issue.
I'm sorry but I can't help you.

Very handy & great developer response! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

UPDATE 2014/06/25: Upon reading the developer's response (below) and experimenting, I suspect a conflict with the Tab Mix Plus extension (my TMP preference for links to new sites to open in a new tab) might have been at the root of my problem. "Suspect" because I tried GKeep again after receiving the developer's response and it worked fine without me changing anything. Odd. I even logged out of one account and into another (see my original review as to why that was an issue) all within the GKeep panel without much problem -- I did have to use the "Reload" button to get back to the Keep page, but that's to be expected.

I'm giving this four stars only because I feel the panel should be able to be re-sized in the traditional "dragging a corner" way rather than having to go into GKeep's settings each time - kinda tedious (to be fair, this could be due to a technical limitation I am unaware of since I'm not a developer). Other than that, at this point this extension seems to work as described at first glance so it's definitely recommended (assuming you can overlook the re-sizing annoyance). I will update if I run into any other problems.

==== ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS (left in case others run into something similar and so developer response below has some context) ====
When it started up, I saw that it was logged into a different Google account than I wanted to use, so within the panel I logged out and back into the account I wanted to use. The panel now displays a Google logo with what appears to be an empty search box and nothing else. Entering anything into the box and pressing the Enter key does nothing. Using the panel's "Reload" option doesn't do anything. Uninstalling and re-installing took me right back to the same place. Can't find a way to get it back onto Keep.

Reading the extension page more thoroughly, it seems you're supposed to change accounts outside of the panel and then use the "Reload" option. I have a hard time believing I'd be the only one who attempted changing the login within the panel and feel this is something that should be handled properly. As a simple kludge fix an option to reset to the proper Keep page should be included.

Maybe if I'm feeling adventurous I'll go dig through my Firefox profile to find whatever's being left behind by the uninstall and clear it out. Maybe I'll get lucky and that'll fix my problem.

Just for the heck of it, I went into options and set the box to 95% width. Saw the usual Google "dialpad" for apps, so tried using it. I couldn't get it to go to Keep - I'm guessing because it thought I was already there, so had it go to GMail so I could switch back. Of course that didn't work. It went to GMail just fine, but when I try switching back to Keep it just opens a new tab in the main FF window. The GKeep panel is now a handy shortcut to my Gmail. *sigh*

Hi and thanks for trying my addon!

What the add-on does is simply to load the URL into the panel. Everything what happens inside the panel, is the same as a normal Firefox tab. So if you're logged into a Google Account...the add-on uses the same account.
If you try to load that URL in Firefox and loads fine, then the add-on should works fine. If the URL doesn't loads in Firefox, then you should have some problems with Firefox itself.

The reload button reload that URL. I tried to log out and then log in and takes me to my user profile page. Using the reload takes me to my google keep.

Lastly, sometimes in Firefox 29 there were an issue that some users (including me) were experimenting in other similar addons randomly that when you open the panel it is empty. This is easily "fixed" by hiding/showing the panel toolbar. But I think this not your case.

Please contact me via email (alejandrosbrizuela[at] if you still can't use my add-on.

Another useful add-on from the developer - thank you.

Great extension! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It does all it is supposed to do. It is possible to open the panel using a keyboard shortcut and also keep it open on top if needed.

Thanks for developing this!

Not quite perfect, but pretty closee Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It has a few things I would like to see changed, but this is implemented almost perfectly. It's just simple and clean.

I would like to see the location not attached to the button so I can drag it out of the way if I want to, and it would be great if it were resizable like any other windwo, but other than that I wouldn't want it any different.

Other than that, it's exactly what I want. Quick access to Keep. Looks like a natural component of the browser, opens and closes quickly too.
