You people just made is impossible to use . I dont like those lines while inspecting the page . What the hell only body tag got selected itself .......

Worst "update" ever. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'd give this a 0 if I could. Unfortunately, I have to give it a 1 star rating, which makes it look way better than it actually is. Which is utterly useless.

Well, not quite useless - it has done a great job at alienating the entire user base all at once, as well as finally sinking Firefox into a "has been" browser.

The devs need to step up to the plate, admit that they made a huge mistake, beg for forgiveness from the community, and then bring Firebug back to a usable tool.

Doesn't have to be the flashiest, coolest tool out there. Just a usable tool would suffice.

What The Fuck ??? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I used firebug over years and i love it! Today i pressed F12 and a message appeared, telling me firebug was now integrated into firefox.

This version is ugly and complete different to the good old version i used until now! This is pretty useless to me... How do i get the old version back? I really don't like that mozilla does not let the user choose...

What Happened, Put it back! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Why have they done this update to Firebug its pretty much unusable now.

Please put it back how it was

The 9/11 for front enders Rated 1 out of 5 stars

To be honest: Firebug was the only reason to keep using the "fanTesting" buggy and memory eating software called FireFox (but only for developement):

The best default layout/usability of all dev tools that gives you the basics for front-end developing:
- Console and requests together to the left
- switching to html allows you to edit it in REAL TIME
- editing css to the right allows you to edit styles in REAL TIME
- editing js to the right allows you to edit MULTIPLE LINES of code that do not disappear in history after execution
- starting Firebug ONE time and it updates automatically as you switch between the tabs

Now Editing html/css in real time is almost impossible: If you finally manage it to place the cursor where you want to
edit something you have to enter everytime you want to see the change. But once you have entered, you cannot be sure
that your running inspector keeps showing the element you have just edited... It may jump 500 lines up/below or
somewhere else and you have to pick the element again and again and again.

Now you cannot edit multiple lines of javascript any longer because it now has the perverted/paraphilic one-line-keyhole like chrome...
I am not a gynecologist nor do I like wearing a Burka - I want to edit JS and I want to see what I am writing/just have executed.

Now you have to start a new instance of the crap tools for every tab...
If you stick it to the window there is no space left for the page (btw: if you want to have some fun try resizing them)
But if you make it an extra window for every tab you are immediately lost because you are always observing/editing at the wrong places.
(Interestingly Firebug wasn't slower at handling all tabs together)

Using the dev-tolls is like playing handball wearing handcuffs (just like the webkit tools)

The dev tools should have been killed in favor of Firebug instead.

Go and make Firebug a commercial product at a reasonable price - this would be finally a product worth paying for it

Desastroso Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Las herramientas integradas son un auténtico desastre. Hemos retrocedido años

What happened to the "Cookies" tab? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the Cookies tab.
I guess you've noticed all the 1 ratings. Updates are expected to improve the user experience and not take away the existing functionality.

Why Firebug is still available on this site?! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As we know (& we are not happy), the Great Firebug no loner available for new Version of Firefox. so why it still available for users?

p.s: Guys please don't rate 1 to Firebug, it's a great tool, we know it, we all have lot of good memories with it, let's hope (& help) the Firefox Developer Tools become (even) better (than Firebug).

I want my real Firebug back too Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The latest integration of Firebug as Moz dev tools sucks! roll back!!

I want my real Firebug back too Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The new version is less inuitive than before.

The edition of the CSS is more complicated (addition of rule, change of the properties).
I can not use the up and down arrow keys to change a CSS value.

There are fewer suggestions of css properties.

More buggy

This more a downgrade than an update.

Firebug annoying Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Hi i am writing this review on the based of using new firebug, i have mistakenly updated my firebug, but now i m trying to shift to chrome, because the interface of firebug is quite annoying and it is just like the inspect of the normal firefox or I.E, i am from many year use to with the older version, and it was quietly user friendly interface now the inspection is very bad, suggestion is not any more while writing the css classes in the browser, so i request that can you please keep the original interface before this one, other wise like me a very large amount of developer will say by by to firefox, and will shift to chrome.
